“He is,” Brunnhilde agreed simply, though the look of vaguely strained concentration on her face showed that this did not assuage her concern. “That is exactly what I’m worried about, but you are right.” Hard enough for her to admit, but it was true. There was little good in worrying at this point, as she had made her choice and clearly, in one way or another, had to live with it. Likely, her concern was misplaced- she should be more afraid about Thor and what he would think. “Of course you have,” She said with a little wan smile, despite herself cheered by his dramatics. “And how many of those have you escaped from?” And if his earlier remark hadn’t cheered her, the attempt at playing coy when discussing his ability to rile up a party certainly did. The Valkyrie snorted, raising her eyebrows at the thought of Loki ever being on his best behaviour. “I’m sure your version of that term includes making at least a little bit of a spectacle once and awhile.” She could admire, though, that he was trying to at least meet Thor halfway. And that he had… someone else to keep him company. She grinned at his admission, genuinely alight with happiness for him. “Ah, now I see. Silly of me to think that good behaviour would be for solely Thor’s sake. Congratulations, though! You must introduce me to this man soon- I’m curious about who could turn your head enough to stay out of trouble.” Brunnhilde patted his shoulder, and nodded towards the both of them at his question with the air of rising to a challenge. “Lead the way,” She replied.

Loki offered her a coy and mischievous smile to her question but left it unanswered. “Once in a while, but a little spectacle is fun and look at this place,” He gestures around desperately. “Devoid of fun. It is always night, it is always cold and the humans are miserable because they have caused their own famine in some places,” He wrinkles his nose in distaste. “People like your friend the large green scientist believe it is the stones,” Loki could feel their power thrumming through his own Seidr but there was nothing he could do about it. Their raw power was stronger than his magic.

“Perhaps,” He allowed. He was not sure how James would react to the Valkyrie or vice versa but he did not want to tell her no, either. Mostly because it knew it would probably hurt James’ feelings if he did not want to introduce him to his friends acquaintances, even if he explained it had very little to do with him. “Alright,” Loki shrugs and walks beside her, absently tossing his knife into the air, allowing it to spin, before catching it again. “This place is dreadful, even mock Asgard is better than this.”

Shuri wasn’t sure why she was here in Stark Tower, putting things together like some kind of peasant when she could simply inspire the right people to do it for her. But there were rules about allowing “normal people” into the tower, especially in the work area with all these tools and tech. So she was honestly taken by surprise when a new face and voice just wheeled himself in like he owned the place. The eyes and hair, however, those were somewhat familiar from… “Ah, you are… the Thunder God’s brother.” Thor’s name was failing her at the moment, given that they hadn’t formally met face to face. As she turned, her own eyes would emit a gold glow, as well as the aura surrounding her brightening. The room was soon filled with the smell of vanilla. “Freaky Friday… I don’t think I’ve seen that one. So you’re burdened with sibling responsibilities too, I take it?”

“Thor, yes. Which is why I currently look like some college brat who is going to say something intelligible about surfing,” He really could not stand his current look. He hated looking into the mirror and hardly recognizing his own face, an irritation that only grew with the knowledge this was also part of the reason he could not be around James at the moment. His electricity was too hard to control. He could feel it now, sparking beneath his skin. “Which makes me Loki,” he added belatedly. He might be annoyed at the girl for not knowing his name if she had not been but a child to the God and if he had not been so preoccupied with not burning this whole place to the ground with a power he was struggling to keep under wraps. “Something like that, sure. You lament as if you know?” At the mention of the film, Loki chuckles. “I have not either but you spend enough time around Midgardians and you pick up their simple jokes and slang.”
