                          It’s not a lie, he is very pretty to them. Even if he is short, but their last husband had been short. Their spinning their blade in one hand. Their was blood on their cheek obscuring their facial markings. The fellow, now headles galra falling to the ground as they move their hair out of their face. Purple and yellow eyes lazer focusing on the human? Maybe, he didn’t smell right to be human. 

          everything  about  this  is  new.  getting  called  pretty  by  a  tall  purple  alien?  not  an  every  day  occurrence.  getting  called  pretty  at  all  isn’t,  really.  ❝  thanks,  ❞  don’t  let  the  gruff  voice  and  the  monotone  phrasing  fool  you,  he’s  thrilled.  ❝  y-you  too.  i’m,  ❞  a  beat  and  a  vague  gesture  towards  them,  ❝  digging  the  whole  look  you  got  going  on,  ❞  you  know,  the  bloody  purple  look.

     he knew there was no chance of luke and leia inheriting his curse, since they were born long before that came into play, but he can’t deny the fear that they might have inherited abilities from his own father – and the thought of his children suffering the way that his brother has for so long isn’t a pleasant one. “nothing yet. i’m keeping an eye on them. so far they’re just… normal kids.”

     he’s lost count of how many times he’s beaten himself up over it, how many times he’s lain in bed at night and berated himself for not being careful enough with audra. hand rubs at the back of his neck as he exhales, trying to find the right words. “mm. it was a surprise to me too.”

the  reason  why  a  lot  of  seemingly  simple  things  (  basic  things  taught  in  school,  social  interaction,  anything  sexual,  ect.  )  seem  to  go  right  over  xavier’s  head  has  nothing  to  do  with  him  not  being  smart  enough  (  because  he  really  is  smart  ).  it’s  more  of  the  fact  he  lived  a  very  ISOLATED  life  and  by  the  time  he  got  the  chance  to  come  out  of  his  shell  more  such  as  school  situations,  he  was  comfortable  living  in  that  isolation.  he  knew  he  was  more  of  a  weapon  than  anything,  his  guardians  didn’t  see  a  point  in  teaching  him  anything  that  should  be  taught  to  a  child  and  he  didn’t  see  much  of  a  point  in  learning  about  things  that  didn’t  involve  his  need  for  survival  or  to  help  the  hunt.  and  while  now  he  may  be  realizing  that  was  a  load  of  bullshit  and  he’s  really  trying  to  get  out  a  little  more  (  not  by  much,  but  it’s  something  ),  he  still  very  much  unaware  of  a  lot.

it’s  important  to  remember  that  xavier  suffers  from  depression  and  a  pretty  severe  case  of  it  at  that.  he’s  dealt  with  it  since  he  was  twelve  so  most  days  he  can,  somehow  to  even  his  own  surprise,  force  himself  through  the  cycle.  of  course  then  there  are  days  where  he  CAN’T.  some  days  he  won’t  get  out  of  bed  (  even  if  it’s  one  of  the  days  he’s  sleeping  in  his  unbelievably  uncomfortable  car  ),  some  days  he  won’t  shower  for  a  week,  some  days  he  won’t  have  the  energy  to  talk  to  people  even  for  his  job,  some  days  he’ll  just  eat  himself  alive  with  the  NEGATIVE  THOUGHTS.  though,  on  the  really  bad  days,  it’ll  affect  him  so  much  that  he’ll  lose  his  grip  on  his  powers  which  is  dangerous  for  everybody  around.

the  only  reason  he  really  keeps  himself  going  is  because  of  his  RESPONSIBILITY  to  his  job.  xavier  isolates  himself  for  a  reason  and  because  of  how  regularly  he  feels  bad,  it’s  a  big  contribute  to  it.  though  he  still  has  no  idea  that  he’s  not  SUPPOSED  to  feel  that  way  and  it  tends  to  make  him  feel  WORSE  on  the  days  he  can’t  pull  himself  through  because  everyone  else  can  so  why  can’t  he.

               being  a  waitress  is  rather  a  thankless  job.     if  anything ,  she  can’t  wait  until  she’s  done  with  law  school  &  hurry  up  to  take  the  bar  exam.  exasperated  sigh  &  she  turns  around  to  the  source  of  the  gruff  sounding  voice ,  dirtied  hands  wiped  clean  from  the  apron  that  hung  around  her  waist.    ❝  if  you’re  wondering ,  the  soup  of  the  day  is  beef  with  vegetables  &  no ,  we  no  longer  serve  the  burger  &  slice  of  pie  special.  we  haven’t  since  two  months  ago.  ❞

        brows  knit  together  in  a  momentary  lapse  of  confusion.  not  at  all  what  he  was  going  to  ask  (  at  least  he  knows  she’s  no  mind  reader  now  ),  but  he  supposes  he  can  see  where  she’s  coming  from.  ❝  good  to  know,  but  i  don’t  care.  ❞  he’s  actually  trying  to  be  polite  ----  manners  are  also  on  that  list  of  things  he  doesn’t  excel  at.  ❝  there  was  a  murder,  ❞  he  always  feels  weird  calling  attacks  a  murder,  but  it’s  easier  than  explaining  the  supernatural,  ❝  you  notice  anything  strange  lately?  maybe  some  things  you  can’t  explain?  ❞

         his  last  hunt  left  him  a  little  banged  up  thanks  to  a  very  angry  poltergeist.   he’s  so  damn  excited  to  be  meeting  back  up  with  her  though  that  any  pain  or  soreness  he  had  felt  is  temporarily  gone.  there’s  a  rush  of  adrenaline  that  shoots  through  him  as  he  sees  her,  ❝  hiya  baby!  ❞  a  grin  over  his  features  as  he  steps  closer  to  her  and  opens  his  arms  for  a  hug.

         this  has  always  been  his  least  favorite  part  of  the  job.  shooting  is  his  forte,  killing  is  ------  talking  to  other  people,  though?  he’s  damn  near  clueless  on  that  matter.  not  to  mention  how  uncomfortable  he  gets  in  suits.  green  eyes  search  around  the  diner,  taking  in  his  surroundings,  ensuring  he  knows  all  the  exit  points  in  case  he  needs  to  bolt.  finally  eyes  land  on  the  waitress  in  front  of  him  and  gruff  voice  finally speaks,  ❝  do  you  have  time  for  a  few  questions?  ❞
