What will be of me if I never find you again?

A void of sadness and despair that will never end.

My life without you is a world of emptiness,

With hope fading away as if it never was.

The future without you would be so grim,

Like a long dark tunnel without any light within.

My heart is heavy with the pain of my soul,

For without you, my life has no goal.

I wander day by day, seeking an answer,

Searching for closure but only finding danger.

The thought of us parting, fills me with dread,

So for all eternity, I'll still wish that we hadn't separated.

Written for my best friend, girlfriend, wife, she was a companion in a part of my life, and now there is only distance

The man felt so lost, not knowing what to do

His happiness gone, without a trace or clue

He couldn't stop thinking, of all he and her used to share

Holds his heart in his hands, yet still can't seem to repair

He knew it was time, to part with his wife

With a sorrow and sadness, eaten up inside

But he hung on the memories, and they wouldn't quite let go

Within the man's broken heart, the pain started to show

He tried to forget, to keep walking away

But the past was just too strong, he had to stay

Until one day he realized, the hurt that was done

It wasn't worth the pain, to keep on holding on

Thru tears and heavy heart, he chose to forgive

Letting go of his love, and start to live

A new beginning he made, full of life and of joy

His past forgotten, loving himself like new boy
