HAPPY PRIDE TO ALL MY LGBTQ+ AUTISTIC PALS!!! 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
Me walking into the kitchen looking for food to keep my depressed ass from having a mental breakdown like
Being autistic is hard, and that’s okay. It’s not wrong to talk about the negative experiences.
I haven’t showered in over a week, I’ve been severely depressed and anxious for reasons I don’t know, my sensory issues have been worse than ever, I’ve been in a shutdown and haven’t been able to communicate, I’ve binged on so much food that I feel sick and I’m feeling extremely shitty about myself. Being autistic isn’t always sunshine and rainbows and that’s okay, talking about the struggles of being autistic doesn’t mean you have to hate your existence and want to change who you are. I love being autistic but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t struggle or have terrible days. Ableists love it when disabled people talk about their struggles because they use it as a reason to hate on us some more, they seem to think disabled people can’t be positive when we’re struggling with our disabilities because the idea of us loving ourselves is crazy to them. It is possible to both love yourself and feel frustrated with the struggles you face due to your disability. Please don’t feel like it’s wrong to talk about the negative experiences because it’s not, it’s completely okay to do so.
Let 2019 be the year people:
Stop using the r word.
Stop insulting autistic people.
Stop comparing autism to cancer and other diseases.
before tumblr i spent the same amount of time on the computer but i seriously cannot recall what i did

If you have an invisible disability you have every right to use a disabled toilet. Just because your disability isn’t visable to other people, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to access the help and support you need and deserve.
What’s In My Travel Bag! (Part 1)
On Thursday I’m heading off to Spain for a holiday over Christmas and I’ve started packing my bag will all things stimmy! Travelling is stressful for me so I try to pack things to keep me calm on the journey but also for the holiday itself. I’m nervous but also excited to go on holiday. Getting away for Christmas will hopefully make things a lot easier because Christmas is always incredibly stressful for me. Every year I’ve ended up in a meltdown on Christmas Day but hopefully this year it’ll be different! (Since you’re only allowed 10 photos per post I’m going to do this in 2 parts)
So this is my travel bag and of course I’m taking my comfort item Boxer with me!
I bought this super cute cloud keyring that changes colours 😍
I have my ear defenders packed and ready for the airport (it’s always so loud there!) and in my bag I have a travel box that I use to put all my stim toys in.
In the box I have this really stimmy sequin fabric and a squishy beaded ball,
A squishy pug and a tangle,

Slime Review! ❤️💛💙💜
Today I received a package of slimes from @in-a-julia-sort-of-way and I’m going to review them for you all! Their slime shop is a fairly new one so I was really excited to help them out by reviewing some of their slimes. All the profit they make from selling their slimes goes to the charity Save The Children which is an amazing cause!
I was sent two different slimes: Julia’s Love & Neurodiversity. In the package there were instructions and bottles of activater included incase any of the slimes become sticky, hard or runny. There were also sweets and squishes included in the package which I thought was really sweet!
The first slime: Julia’s Love:
This slime was a super lovely one! It was light, fluffy, crunchy, soft and all around sensory heaven! 😍 Microfloam and beads were added to the slime to give it it’s crunchy, bubbly texture.
What I liked about this slime:
I loved the texture and the feel of this slime. I was surprised to find that the microfloam and beads didn’t fall out at all which meant it didn’t make any mess.
The slime was stretchable and stayed together really well!
What I didn’t like about this slime:
I don’t think there’s anything I didn’t like about this slime, all the small issues I had were easily solved!
The slime was a bit sticky and left my hands sticky too, this wasn’t a big deal though because there were instructions included on what to do if the slime was sticky.
I found the slime a little hard to get out of the jar but once I had unpacked everything I saw that there was a spoon included to help with getting them out!
The second slime: Neurodiveristy.
This slime was very different to the first one, this one had more of a buttery, smooth, putty feel to it. It was shimmery and full of glitter which I loved! 😍
What I liked about this slime:
It was really easy to get out of the jar and it wasn’t sticky at all!
I loved the sparkle and shimmer that this slime had, it was a great visual stim!
It had a really nice puffy feel to it that you can squish in your hands. If you prefer more of a putty compared to a runny slime then you would love this one!
What I didn’t like about this slime:
A lot of glitter came off onto my hands and it made a bit of a mess. This wasn’t unexpected though because mostly anything that includes glitter will get a bit messy!
My final thoughts:
I loved both of these slimes and I would definitely order them again! They’re great quality and you get a decent amount of slime in the jars. My favourite slime out of the two was Julia’s Love because of how fluffy and crunchy it was! I definitely recommend checking them out and ordering some slime for yourself! You can find them on their blog @in-a-julia-sort-of-way or on their Instagram ❤️
