Hey everyone! Itās been a while since weāve posted - sorry about that. Shortly after we announced weād be ceasing the scheduled updates we started to receive a lot more questions than usual, so tonight weāll be answering some of them, and sneaking in some relevant images.

Iām trying
to hold myself accountable to continuing the work on these demos, so while I have to be an adult and spend my days off, say, having maintenance done behind my washer/dryer to fix a leak in my downstairs neighbors apartment, I either record or mix the tracks. I'm sensing that after a facelift of most of these old ideas, I'm going to take my hours at KMG to track the vocals & some other acoustic guitars. We could see a 2020 release for all we know! I just have to maintain this pace and get better at using GarageBand again.
It's not likely that Angel will even have lyrics, rather than some other vocal fun. Not In Love was dabbled with originally in late summer 2015, that only repeats the lyric "I'm not in love, but I love the thought of it happening". I have a few scatting & light barbershop-esque tricks in mind, we'll see what happens.
Part 1, being Universe (Intro), Right Here, Beautiful Night, Angel, and Not In Love, is getting close to done!
Finally
getting the ball rolling back with theĀ album thatās been on the mind for the whole decade of ā10.
At this point Iām almost ashamed that Iāll probably be finishing it up at the end of my twenties. I can only trust that my procrastination & distractions the timing of all this makes perfect sense in the eyes of the Lord, right?
Iāve kept giving myself reasons to push it off, the worst one being āIām sadā. The finalĀ reason being, however, marriage! I love my wife and I also love music, so this is something Iād like to finally get out of the way. I wish I could solely drive on the motivation of the love for my wife & my faith in God but my procrastination techniques still creep in.... I hate it.
After piling together all the recordings I could uncover in the last 8 years, Iāve created 3 hours and 48 minutes of original music for Absoulutely - demos of roughly 30 ideas. Iām hoping itās enough quality for me to understand how to handle the content next. Iāve been terrible about the organization since day 1 and have lost important ideas Iāve moved on from. Today, I begin the last of my journaling & demoing towards the production process!
