Under Night In-Birth Exe Late[st] OST- Mutual Situation(Hyde vs Seth)

- Nanase’s ending, Under Night In-Birth: Exe: Late (French Bread)
『城戸灰都』—— “Christmas is rolling up right around the corner, huh....? Wonder if they’re gonna do anything big for the whole thing.”
❝ What the hell does THAT even mean? ❞
Judgement is quickly being passed.
『城戸灰都』—--- “By the sounds of things some weird ass word for wife, I’m guessing...”
Join the the club, buddy.
“Things like this all the time in this place?”
Hyde Infinite Worth Under Night In-Birth EXE LATE
『城戸灰都』— “.....Waifu?”
Without prior reserve, here's the hero this city doesn't want, Kido Hyde from Under Night In Birth!
Welcome to Koi, Kido!
You will be housed in Chamomile Apartments. It looks like your partner, Neko has already arrived. We hope the two of you get along!
Your welcome package includes a panda plush, a hoodie with the words ‘trust me, I’m a hero’ printed on the chest and an action figure of yourself.
☀ Cocoa mod
『城戸灰都』---“...What in the hell is all this crap...?”
“Have you truly never met an evil duplicate of yourself? Its virtually a right of passage for heroes nowadays, along with the obligatory “Get framed for its evil-doings and have to clear your name” plot.”
“I do have proof. Or photographic evidence at least. I could show it to you if you’d believe me, mister, uh…” She’s only just know realizing she hasn’t gotten the others name.
(Screw it. I give up...) “Hyde. Just call me that for now..” He answered, feeling deep regret having approached this one. She was definitely calmer then the other but what she lacked energy in she made up for in nuttiness surpassing the ‘Ms. Eltnum’ he had the supreme misfortune of encountering.
“All right, uh, Sion. For argument’s sake let’s say I believe all that, doesn’t it bother you at all there’s some nut out there using your name to do God knows what?”
“Thankfully, it’s not my job to help you.”
『城戸灰都』“Heh. Well for the record, I sure as hell don’t need it. Yeah, I may not be as strong as Linne and that old man but I can hold my own just fine. Anyway… Don’t you have someone else to bother? I don’t see why you’re so interested in what I’M doing all the time.”
░║暗殺者}—“Unfortunately, I’m on clean-up duty.” This usually was the case with the Hollow Night drew near. As forged by a cruel spectre, wherever the Isulator marked, Eliminator shall erase–at least this is how he seen it. “I don’t need your impulses obstructing my mission.”
『城戸灰都』— “Trying to get the drop on people before they even see you coming, you mean?” Though technically on the same side and seeking the same end, the means both employed in order to reach said end would always them at odds. Hyde, the merciful idealist could not approve of the methods used by the pragmatic assassin, Seth. Like night and day. Like two sides of the same coin, they were back to back but they could never face the world from the other’s view.
『城戸灰都』— “And what in the hell is that supposed to mean!? You’re the only one causing trouble for anyone here. I still need to pay you back for nearly trying to do me in during the last ‘Night’.“
The little blonde giggled when she was head patted. “Pea’s name’s Peashy! And what does for…f-fore…that word mean!?”
Crap. How to explain this to go and explain to a little kid in a way they’d get it right away? Kido didn’t exactly feel like playing teacher right now. “Well it’s sort of like, um, you’re just not from around here, I guess. Like, you live somewhere else. Well... It’s not a big deal if you are or aren’t, plus it doesn’t seem like you’re lost or anything so it’s all good.”
Come to think of it...”O-Oh, yeah, so where’re your folk’s?” Kido looks around for anyone who might resemble the girl. “Don’t tell me they just let you wander around this place by yourself?”
Bad First Impressions (AU)
“Glad to see you can at least nibble like a proper beast.” Makie responded in a deadpanned manner. “This puppy can be trained.” The girl smirked as she looked up at the night sky. Or rather the overcast storm that threatened to continue it’s relentless downpour. Such a sicking sight. All it did was churn her already overturned stomach. Sighing heavily, the girl walked away from the smart mouth servant.
However she turned back to the boy sitting on the piece of rubble. Seeing the rather angry glare sent his way the girl smirked. “What’s wrong? You should be happy. Being compare to a puppy means you are cute. And I have to admit you definitely appeal to my aesthetic senses. Just get a pair of glasses and I could fall for you.”
Shoving her hands into her pockets to at least keep her hands warm the girl declared thus.
“It doesn’t matter what class of servant you are now. What’s done is done.” White hair fluttered as she harshly turned away from him. “Regardless, I am now a Master of the Holy Grail War, and I intend to win…” Turning her head back to look at the hole the girl raised her hand.
“Better focus on the problem at hand for now.“ Blue circuity lit up in the girl’s right arm. “Dial Open-” A sound quite similar to a rotor blasted through the room. No that wouldn’t be right to explain. Rather it was the sound of gears grinding together to make the sound of a rotor. Was something possible, no it could not be. Yet somewhere in the room the sound of gears grinding at such a pace that it left one to wonder what else to compare that sound to?
Though it was the source of the sound that could leave one’s mind boggled.
Taking a deep breath, the girl exhaled. The mixture of the cold rain and the sigh caused her breathe to take form as a visible fog.
“[Beta] (Rewind).”
It was a magical command. One that caused something no one could ever hope to replicate. At the instant those words left her lips, the world seemed to take on a different approach. Before Saber’s eyes was a magnificent sight. Rubble and glass began to float to the sky, returning to the form it had originally. Shattered glass became perfectly fine windows. Stone and wood fit like jigsaw pieces into the roof, blocking the rain from entering the room anymore. All the while the world seemed to take on a monochrome appearance with a bluish tint to it.
Within seconds, the room was back to the way it was before the summoning. A perfectly, family style living room meant for two people, and two people alone. The sound died out like a turbine winding down.
Letting her hand drop the girl glanced about. Crimson eyes could see nothing out of place.
“…Ahhh…as long as my magic circuits make that sound can’t do any sneak attacks. Really narrows down what we can do…”
P-Puppy!? Okay now this chick was really asking for it. Where the hell did she get off calling him, the Servant of the sword, the highest ranking servant, a ‘puppy’!?
“You sonofa-” Heated, he jetted up from his seat and shooting a scornful glare towards his master’s direction just as she turned to meet his hateful glare with a sneering curve placed on her pink lips. And with that, something snaps. Master or not, he wasn’t about to just take this crap lying down! Immediately Saber geared up to let loose a slew of his best insults pour from his mouth. Her next words, however, left his mouth hanging helplessly agape for no less than several whole seconds. Once the words had been properly processed after what felt like an eternity he lowered his head slightly, unable to meet her gaze.
“Y-You...”Crimson embarrassment bloomed on his cheeks in spite of himself. He knew very well she was only teasing him but such knowledge did nothing to slow down the now rapid palpitations of a youthful, inexperienced heart. “Gah, d-damn it... Don’t...screw around, idiot...” He really wasn’t used to these things. All in all though, Saber had to admit it felt pretty pathetic to be this flustered over this...
He snapped back into focus at the sound of her voice and the whirring of gears grinding together. Where was that coming from?
Suddenly... The air and the world it encompassed it seemed to distort. Color fled from his vision, leaving behind a world of monochrome. The words themselves imbued with magical energy fill his ears and after a bout of slight disorientation the scene reverses itself before his eyes. The rubble, glass, and stone rise, combine, and return to their rightful places like a puzzle being put together and the room is restored to it’s original glory in a mere matter of seconds as if nothing happened at all.
“...The hell?”
...Some kind of rare restoration magic? No, this went above something so simple, but much more importantly that right now...
“Hey...” Saber called to the girl, the biting tone leaving his voice and making way for his reflexive concern for others. “Your circuits are still reeling from summoning and everything. Most magus kind of tend to lose consciousness after summoning their servants. I don’t know what exactly you did just now but try not to overdo it.“ He advised, moving to peer out the newly reconstructed window while releasing a sigh from his lips, leaving a white fog on the glass and drawing a vertical line through it with a barely audible squeak. Hard to believe it was shattered beyond all repair just a few seconds ago. If Saber hadn’t seen it occur himself, he wouldn’t believe it. Was this the power of his master’s magic? Maybe she was more than just some twisted chick after all. This went far beyond the realm of simple restoration magic.
She might put on haughty airs but her talent as a magi was definitely one-of-a-kind. Casualty reversal? Or perhaps.. Either way she had earned a little respect from from her rebellious Servant. “...Anyway.” He spoke up again, turning to gaze back at the girl. “It at least sounds like you’re willing to work with me, so I can tell you this much... If you’re serious about winning this thing you can use whatever tactics and I’ll back you up. You’ve got one hell of an attitude but you don’t seem like a bad person so I’ll trust you with that.”
“Though sneak attacks and all that crap isn’t really my style in the first place. Not that it matters. I might not look like much compared to other heroes but I can protect you and take whatever the hell any enemy can dish out. It doesn’t matter who we’re up against, I’ll definitely win. ...That’s what I’m here for, after all.” Calmly. Confidently. Without a shred of doubt nor arrogance in his voice, he declared he would bring her victory. “Just don’t do anything too crazy. It’ll be a pain in the ass if most of the time spent fighting is making sure your’s is safe and sound.”
...And then says something he probably shouldnt’ve.
Bad First Impressions (AU)
pathwaytothefuture:
The raindrops pounded on the sheets of thin glass throughout the house. The temperature was mild within the basement in which the girl performed her summoning. The crimson red light that belonged to the circle softly vanished, as if it was never there to begin with.
The white haired girl kneeled on the ground, coughing due to the dust kicked up from the summoning. If it was a different time, she would have thought to clean the place before performing the ritual. But that was a minor thought. The only thing the girl could truly register within her mind was the condition of the summoning.
Did she do it? Did she draw the strongest card? No she had to have! There was no way she could have failed! Though…
“I…I did it…I…I summoned a servant! The strongest card!!” It was not a matter if she succeeded or not. It was a downright fact. But…
“…..eh? Where the hell is-”
BOOM!
A light gasp escaped the girl. Without much thought the girl quickly ran up the stairs.
“Why the hell of all times?!” She ran as fast as her legs could carry her. If she was right, that explosion took place in the guest room. The two story house that she lived in was quickly traversed as she arrived at her destination.
The moment she stepped through that doorway, her breathe was caught in her voice.
In what used to be a tidy guest room now was a mess of a room. The roof collapsed in, as if something had fallen through.
And the object was standing in front of her.
A young boy wearing her era’s school uniform. Black hair with yellow spikes, a black gakuen styled in a rather cool looking way. It was actually a shock to see him.
But it was his words that he spoke that caused the girl’s enlightened mood to vanish. Eyes widen as pink lips parted. Was he….serious?
“……So instead of an Alpha, I drew a Beta….” The girl spoke out in shock. Even when speaking the fact out loud could she not understand. How…could this be possible?!
“This…this isn’t possible…I…I summoned forth a hero from the Throne itself! How did I end up summoning a high school boy….”
There was just no other way to explain it.
There was no other way to observe this event.
Collapsing on her knees whilest letting the rain continue to fall in, the girl’s face said it all.
The summoning was an utter failure.
….no….this was not how things where supposed to go. What could she do to reverse this? Nothing, the ritual could not be performed a second time. Then…how would she handle this?
“….Dammit….I have to make due with myself then…” Standing up the girl crossed her arms, a look of utter disappointment in her eyes. “Guess I better confirm it for you. I am a master. And sad to say it seems you are the servant I summoned to assist me. So then, are you of the class Saber, Mr. Beta blond delinquent?”
『城戸灰都』— “……Hey. I can hear you, you know…?” He muttered feeling pretty offended by the way she seemed to be looking down on him as the most disappointing creature in the entire world. She didn’t even try to hide her dissatisfaction with summoning him. He almost felt sympathy for her when she fell to her knees like that but the sympathetic feelings all too soon morphed into deep resentment as she continued to lament her summoning. Needless to say this put the servant into a pretty bad mood.
If that’s how she’s going to be he’ll just wait till it was the time for him to shine and show what he was REALLY made of. He would let his peerless skill be the means by which to make his surely troublesome master shut her mouth and reevaluate her horrifically wrong assessment of him just because he looked like an ordinary high-school student. She can bet her ass on that.
『城戸灰都』— “Jeez, sorry I’m not King Arthur or something…” He sighed, picking a loose screw out of his hair and flicking it into a corner of the ruined room as she wrapped up the last of her lamentations. Hearing her inquiry of his class a somewhat smug smile touched the servants lips and he gave an exaggerated shrug. So she was aiming for his class, after all, huh? Looked like she lucked out after all, then.
Sadly, Saber wasn’t exactly about to make it that easy for her.
『城戸灰都』— “Who knows?” He responded with thinly-veiled spite and sat cockily on a pile of rubble, both hands stuffed into the pockets of his coat. Not particularly minding the ice-cold droplets of rain pouring down on his figure through the hole he made he continued his spiteful teasing.
『城戸灰都』— “Heh. Maybe I’m a Caster or an Archer or maybe even an assassin. ...Seeing how messed up the person who summoned me is I feel like I might even be Berserker. That gonna be some kind of problem, Ms. Granny-haired princess? Ah, I mean...master?”
I announce. Your self is under me, my fate is in your sword. In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer. Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead. You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance!
As her prayers ended, the girl would feel the burning acceleration of the prana racing, coursing all throughout her body reach its utmost limit until, finally, it set ablaze in a furious light that could steal away the sight of all unworthy onlookers. Thunder and lightning roared outside the rain-stained windows, accompanied by rolling crimson-dyed clouds rotated by ominous and evil winds. In the ferocity of a gale so the patterns of her summoning circle shone and glimmered in brilliance.
Finally, from the dazzling light shining in the darkness, the esteemed silhouette of an upright figure called forth from the throne of heroes gloriously emerged. In six separate locations all over the land masters awed and overwhelmed by an incredible presence of a servant mutter in a dream-like daze and drop to their knees in spite of themselves in unison. Overwhelmed by the ancipation of their wishes and fates soon to be intertwined.
However—this was not the case for Makie Kobayashi. As for her….
BOOM!!!
An unequaled shock hit her home, shaking the structure to it’s very foundations, nearly causing it to topple over, prompting her to seemingly failed summoning circle and investigate the source of disturbance.
…As for her, she would come face to face with the one who held her fate in a completely different manner.
『城戸灰都』— “Hm? Yo. You supposed to be my master?”
With a soft and youthful voice unfitting of a legendary figure of history, the boy who stood holding back a cough among the dust and wreckage that was once the living room dusts himself clean of debris spoke; bright, uncalculating red eyes, crimson like blood, shining like a blaze, sized her up for a moment.
Underwhelming. That was the impression he gave off. Dressed in clothing heavily resembling a modified modern day high-school gakuran, he was a young man with golden hair like sunlight, the back section colored jet-black like a shadow cast by that light. Gentle features compliment a handsome face, fair skin, average height, and an almost disappointingly slender-looking build complete the utterly underwhelming visage.
…Was this a joke?
『城戸灰都』— “Well?” As if sensing dissatisfaction, the boy placed a palm on his hip and tilted his head dramatically, and asked once again with hints of challenge in his tone.
『城戸灰都』— “You’re supposed to be my master, aren’t you?”
She watch him sputter before looking around. This was a place she never been too. In fact, she couldn’t even recall how she gotten here.
Oh well.
“I’m not suspicious. Suspicious people do suspicious things.” She was way worse than some suspicious person, but for now she’ll play it lowkey. “I’m just hungry.”
Kuro observe the young male more closely, leaning in a bit to sniff him. “Huh, you look like this guy who gave me a baby chick one time to raise.” How she misses her little chicken.
“Huh.” Well, by that logic even he couldn’t provide a decent rebuttal without thinking about it for a few days at least. “And, uh, hungry? Well if you’re really all that hungry...” He quirks before rummaging through his school bag for his bento box only to look up just when the odd girl leans in a bit and....sniffs him?
“---!! W-W-What the...” He gears up to say something but she just goes back to speaking normally as if nothing happened, flustering him even more. She did it so casually it even made him feel stupid for getting embarrassed about it.
A cough. And then another for good measure. “A-Anyways, a chick...?” He asked, drawing a blank on both the guy she talked about the chicken.
"Hyde, you look a little lost, can I be of assistance?” [frooom Vatista.]
『城戸灰都』“Naw. Not lost; lost ‘something’. Kind of hard to get lost in your own house, y’know?” He sighed, lifting up a couch cushion. “H-Hey, did you see a, um, book around here anywhere?”
