ssl.key > ssl.pem

ssl.crt >> ssl.pem

ca.crt >> ssl.pem

root.crt >> ssl.pem

pem 파일 내부의 new line 확인 필요.

SSL certificate chains

SSL 인증서를 설치하려면 사이트 인증서 뿐만 아니라 중간, 루트 최상위 인증서까지 연결(chain)하여 설정해야 한다.

일부 브라우저에서는 SSL Certificate Chains 설정이 제대로 되어 있지 않으면 보안 오류가 발생한다. (e.g. 모바일 사파리)

인증서 순서는 SO 답변 참고하여,

-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- (Your Primary SSL certificate: your_domain_name.crt) -----END CERTIFICATE----- -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- (Your Intermediate certificate: DigiCertCA.crt) -----END CERTIFICATE----- -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- (Your Root certificate: TrustedRoot.crt) -----END CERTIFICATE-----

순서로 설정. 브라우저에서 보이는 것과는 역순이다.

$ openssl s_client -connect s.devel.kakao.com:443 --- Certificate chain 0 s:/C=KR/ST=Jeju-do/L=Jeju-si/O=Kakao Corp./CN=*.devel.kakao.com ... Verify return code: 0 (ok) ...

가 나와야 한다. 결과 중 CN= 도메인 참고.

그런데 It should be kept in mind that due to the HTTPS protocol limitations virtual servers should listen on different IP addresses virtual server 당 IP 하나씩 할당해서 설정하라고. otherwise the first server’s certificate will be issued for the second site. 그렇지 않으면 첫 번째 virtual server의 인증서가 두 번째에도 영향을 끼침.

다행히 SNI 익스텐션을 사용하면 되고 modern browsers에서 대부분 잘 지원한다.

콘솔에서 openssl로도 문제없이 확인하려면 -servername 옵션을 부여하면 된다.

인증서 파일의 유효성 검증은 openssl x509 -noout -text -in devel.kakao.com.crt 형태로 확인 가능하다.

이거 설정하느라 개고생한적이 있었는데 깔끔하게 정리해주셔서 생각이 나네요. 감사합니다.

Jersey만 쓸때는 몰랐는데 스프링 프레임워크를 추가하니 PUT Request시 Parameter를 제대로 받아오지 못해서 열심히 구글링해서 찾아봤더니 Spring 3.1 부터는 application/x-www-form-urlencoed Content-Type의 PUT request method는 HttpPutFormContentFilter를 걸어줘야 제대로 파라미터를 받아올 수 있다능.

고생했다..ㅠ.ㅠ

현재 서버가 CentOS여서 위 리눅스 클라이언트는 우분투 기준이라서 master 브랜치 소스는 컴파일 에러가 나더라는...

그래서 git clone 받고 태그 1.0.5.1로 변경후 컴파일 성공

맥을 쓴다면 명령줄에서 간단히 맥의 노티를 띄울 수 있다. 빌드를 걸어놓는다거나 한 경우에 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
