I wish you luck, health (both physical and mental), and happiness!! This fandom is suprisingly toxic, and I’m sure many of us have experienced it firsthand. However there are some awesome people here who I know will support your decision, and miss you dearly! Do what you think is best for you! Regardless, congrats on something that’s very intimidating, separating yourself from any group your close to can be tough but in the end if it’s best for you it should be done!! Feel better and know you aren’t alone in what you’re feeling!

I've heard somewhere that Junjou Romantica is going to be released season 4... Guys, it's SEASON 4. I mean I really excited but what about Sekaiichi Hatsukoi...?

Mmmm I don’t think so.... neither studio dean nor nakamura has said anything about a season 4....... I actually think it’s quite safe to assume that we might not get one :/ jjr had a good and hardy run - but who knows! It took 7 years for season 3 to be released....

i wish i had as much trust in the writers as some of y’all do. i’m just cautious in terms of destiel at this point, considering there have been many chances to make it blatantly canon but it never happened. i know it’s all about the story, the build up (it’s flat out a slow burn romance) but we literally have no more time for this.

some of the folks in this fandom (certain meta writers in particular) have been on point, very accurate & have endgame positive thoughts. where as some of us (more importantly those of us who have been watching for a long ass time) have been disappointed in real time. so it’s a different story when someone, who hasn’t watched the show that long, discusses how we need to be patient vs those of us who have been watching long enough to say we have been.

so i guess my point is if the writers don’t at least have dean say he loves cas, have them kiss (& or an implied or on screen sex scene) or whatever one might constitute as cementing a relationship in a show - then we’ve been dragged along. i’d like to look at it another way but i don’t think i can. spn has been dragged through the mud for “queerbaiting” so many times & literally this fandom will never hear the end of it unless they do the damn thing.

i just hope that dabb + the writers (yes, even bucklemming) give us what we’ve been waiting for in this final/upcoming season.

As someone who used to be an avid destiel shipper for years and has kinda fallen out of the fandom, all I can say is in my personal opinion there is a 0% chance of it being canon. Many people started watching the series in hopes of seeing queer representation and many continue to watch out of curiousity, and the ship has become such a huge part of the show, so of course they will always elude to it. I havent watched past season 10 or 11, however, I am entirely sure it will never be canon. The series will end, and nothing will change. That kinda sucks but what can ya do ?

I just had a realization that Junjou romantica (probably) isn’t gonna have a 4th season, and that I watched season 3 without realizing that would be the last time I saw any new episodes...the manga seems to be reaching its final leg too.... One day, very soon, their story will be over. An entire era will come to an end...

If you’re anything like me and have been growing with JJR for about a decade now it’s a really melancholy thing to have it’s end in sight. It’s something you waited for but it’s gonna be weird to have the characters and story end, it’s like they’re fading away. I remember sneakily watching JJR on my super old tablet while going to pick up my first dog 9 years ago, I remember watching it with my brother after my grandpa died so we could just have some laughs, I remember staying up late during hot summer nights and trying to hear their little voices over a fan that’s long gone now, I remember using it as a distraction when dieting or when I was on my first plane ride, I remember growing old enough to realize how messed up it was in the beginning and being almost prideful in its growth and healthier portrayal of relationships, I remember it always being my favorite story. It’s always been there and has moved me in a lot of ways, so it’s gonna be really odd for it just to not be there anymore.

Yet somehow it’s fitting, it’s coming to its end, perfectly in time as my childhood comes to its own close and I have to make my way into the working world. It’s ending right where it’s suppose to, one of the many magical and nostalgic wonders of my childhood days...and I’m so thankful for that.

Lmao sorry for getting sappy, I’m on my period and am kinda getting in my feelings, finding a job, filling out college apps, etc. has made me thing about a lot of things too.
