Clemont and Bonnieâs untimely return to kalos
Mega Starmie containment breach

WHAT
Poor guy, his home/gym was demolished
I get it if you're not paying attention to the news. It's scary, it's exhausting, and a lot of people here are in particularly vulnerable demographics. So I'll just tell you, now is definitely not the time to stop pushing or despair.
Every major news outlet, including Fox and Newsmax, refused to sign Pete Hegseth's ridiculous demand for control over what they published from the Pentagon.
Many airports refused to air Kristi Noem's propaganda video blaming the govt shutdown on the Democrats.
Farmers are furious over the fallout from the trade war with China and now a huge bailout for their direct competitors in Argentina.
A judge in Chicago barred ICE agents from arresting people in court.
MIT, University of Pennsylvania, and a couple other schools have been the first to refuse the administration's ultimatum to either accept a complete govt audit of classes offered or lose federal funding, and we can hope others will follow suit.
The administration continues to lose legal cases regularly, and now the Attorney General of Arizona is threatening to sue Speaker of the House Mike Johnson for his continued refusal to swear in Adelita Grijalva, who was elected to the House in a special election nearly three weeks ago. She would make the last signature needed on a House petition to push the Epstein case to the next stage.
Steven Miller is selling his house in Arlington, VA and moving, because people kept writing criticism of him in chalk on the sidewalks. Lol.
There is blood in the water, guys. Don't stop pushing. Find your nearest No Kings protest tomorrow, and put the fear of the people in the hearts of some Republican governors and congressmen.
No Kings was the largest protest in US history, with over 7 million attendees (and I suspect Indivisible, one of the organizers I follow that did the count, errs toward undercounting). The No Kings this summer was 5 million, so weâre looking at a 40% increase in attendance in just a few months.
Trumpâs approval ratings just reached their lowest point ever, and continue to crater.
Democrats continue to stand strong on healthcare and measures to stop the administrationâs unconstitutional and illegal gutting of government services we the people pay for, like cancer research, housing assistance, and stopping discrimination in schools, employment, and other vital parts of public life.
Keep calling. Keep showing up. Theyâre scared, and we can win this.
Here are some sources on several of these claims!
AP: News organizations, including Hegsethâs former employer Fox, reject new Pentagon reporting rules (October 14, 2025)
CNN: Multiple airports refuse to play Kristi Noem video that blames Democrats for government shutdown (October 15, 2025)
AP: County judge in Chicago area bars ICE from arresting people at court (October 15, 2025)
NPR: As deadline for Trump's colleges compact looms, schools signal dissent (October 20, 2025)
AP: Lawsuit seeks to force swearing in of US Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva of Arizona (October 21, 2025)*
Regarding counts for No Kings, the organizers themselves report "nearly 7 million", while an independent stats group called "Strength in Numbers" reports a median estimate of 5 million and an upper bound of 6.5 million. Wikipedia has estimates of other major protests in US history by size.
*since the original post, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes has in fact filed a lawsuit against Speaker Johnson.
btw while people continue to fight the system don't forget about Undue Medical Debt (formerly RIP Medical Debt), a charity that buys and forgives medical debt. on average a donation of $10 will forgive $1,000 of medical debt.
I'm fairly confident that this is now the one original post I've made that has gotten the most notes, and I honestly couldn't be happier. the more attention we give this, the higher the chances that someone will see this and donate. medical debt is both one of the most crushing things a person can deal with and one of the stupidest things humanity has invented. and if you live in the US, I have no doubt that you've had to deal with medical debt in your life, either for yourself or a loved one. even a small donation can do so much good, and now is the time of year when we are encouraged to think of others.

Attempting to get my students to fucking come to class
Good news!!!! Had an average of 17/24 students in both classes show up to the review!! Thatâs 71% of the class! This is compared to an average 11/24 in previous semesters.

People in the USA should be reading foreign news.
This is what they did to a Canadian

A Quebec man says he is outraged after the U.S. Coast Guard accused him of fishing in American waters and then arrested him before putting him in a jail cell for nearly two hours.
Edouard Lallemand, 60, said he nearly drowned during the ordeal last Sunday afternoon after the Coast Guardâs boat âpushedâ his boat, causing it to capsize.
Days after the incident, heâs still shaken up.
âIâm never going to be the same,â he told CTV News.
Seconding that Americans should read and seek out foreign news. Seriously. The BBC, the CBC, the Guardian app, GroundNews, whatever. Stop relying on fucking.... the NYT or MSNBC or whatever y'all are watching.
People aren't traveling to the US. Even Forbes is reporting a 29 billion dollar loss to your tourism industry for this year. And literally everyone outside of the US is like "yeah of course that tracks, I keep reading news stories about citizens from my country being detained when they go there".
(to say nothing of the incredible anger amongst Canadians for the annexation threats and tariffs attempting to create economic pressure to capitulate to the orange one's bullshit, let alone stories like what happened to the man in the story linked above. We are NOT taking our tourism dollars south anytime soon)
Begging Americans to learn about the world outside of the US.
