Like the moon, we must go through phases of emptiness to feel full again.
Even more terrible, as we grow older, to learn that no person, no matter how beloved, can ever truly understand us.

Hello there .
Anonymous person here.
I shall cut straight to the point.
May you please provide me with a recommendation of books literature in origin.
Deep regards.
K♤
Hi :)
I added the author’s origin to the names, I hope that’s what you meant.
My love for reading started with Crime And Punishment by F. Dostoevsky (Russian) and An American Tragedy by T. Dreiser (American), so I can definitely recommend these ones.
The Picture of Dorian Gray by O. Wilde (Irish), Martin Eden by J. London (American), Pride And Prejudice by J. Austen (English), Frankenstein by M. Shelley (English).
The Secret History by D. Tartt (American), of course. And If We Were Villains by M. Rio (American). They’re absolutely incredible.
Thanks for the question 🤍

Humans can be museums too, filled with history they can no longer touch.

You just made my day, thanks 🖤

Luxury has never appealed to me, I like simple things, books, being alone, or with somebody who understands.

The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.
