Is anyone else, like, acutely aware that this Christmas and/or New Years will be the peak of their media-consuming experience not just for the foreseeable future but probably for all time??? Like, I seriously doubt that anything else in my lifetime will have as much impact on me as Byler becoming endgame and Stranger Things ending. It’s the show that’s been with me for TEN years, I started watching when I was a junior in high school and now I’m an employed adult living on my own. And I’ve been waiting so many years now for Byler to be endgame, too, that like I know that probably no other media I see in my life will be as profound as the ST finale/Byler endgame. Does anyone else feel this way??? Like, it’s a milestone event in my life for sure. And as a queer person I’ll never forget how beautiful Mike and Will’s relationship is and how satisfying it’ll be to see these boys finally getting together, and what amazing rep it will be.
