Please read through and share this post about Project: Kuro. Essentially, half the proceeds of all commissions I take this summer will be donated to my local veterinary hospital to pay for the euthanization of future families’ pets.

Or you can donate to my ko-fi without a commission. I won’t be able to start writing yet, but as soon as I do you will be notified. Please DM me if interested, and we can discuss your commission. I will take as many as I can for the next 2 months. 

If you would like your name/nickname added to the list I will be giving to the veterinary hospital of people who made the donations possible, please make a note in your ko-fi or DM me here on tumblr. I will be sharing the results at the end of the summer of how much we raised and how many families we spared the pain of paying the euthanization fee.

I don’t want the next families who have to put down their beloved pet to have to suffer through that anguish, only to have to pay the euthanization fee on top of it. I want to pay things forward, for Kuro, and for all the pets who deserved better.

Arcade Rivalry

Claudine and Maya have a certain, unspoken schedule of routines that they tend to follow after classes are over for the day. That is, they always head to the rehearsal room for extra practice, of course.

But this afternoon, as Claudine is standing from her desk and slinging her bag over her shoulder in preparation to head to the studio, she freezes when Maya suddenly suggests something entirely different.

“A date?” Claudine parrots her. She gives Maya a truly puzzled look now as Maya approaches her desk, wearing a cool and charming smile.

“Yes,” she says. “I think it would be a welcome change of pace for once, don’t you?”

Claudine eyes her warily.

“Is this your method of trying to knock me off my game?” she challenges. “Are you afraid I’m finally getting close to surpassing you, so you’re taking action to prevent me from training?”

“Not at all,” Maya smiles. “I’m not worried about you surpassing me at all, Saijou-san.”

“Why, you-”

Archive.org is facing a lawsuit

tldr: the Internet Archive/WayBack Machine is super important in term of archived content, billions of stuff are on there, and with the current event happening in the world like stated above,without this tool, it will be hard to properly document what took place. It will be easy for certain people to rewrite history. Dont let them.

The Internet Archive is an insanely valuable tool. It acts as a virtual archive that preserves not only webpages (including those dating back to the dawn of the internet), but also out-of-print books which you can check out and read electronically, just like a library. There are also old movies, music, and other media that is preserved and made accessible for everyone. 

They do amazing work and have done so much to preserve our cultural landscape. If you can spare even $5, please do so.
