Knitting a cabled sweater and EEEEEEE!
It's a pattern from 1979
Making it in the second size because my chest is 33 inches around roughly. I can't wait for my sweater to be done so I can wear it.

I'm getting way too happy about listening to Mephiles' voice clips to sentence mix him into singing Raise Up Your Bat. If only I had it pretty cut into each syllable.
Need to find the doll sprite in the GB version so I can make it in perler beads.
The Spriters Resource unfortunately doesn't have it, so I'll have to figure out how to get sprites from a Gameboy game.
I got a loose copy of Sonic 06 just because it's the game Mephiles came from and a DVD case, I'm gonna draw Mephiles as the case art and like have him just like showing off the beans and also have like all four of his forms on the case and probably end up referencing the cover of a adult magazine or something for the poses because I am not normal about Mephiles and have a hacked Vita and 2DS with him as the background of both, my Mephiles plush has a popped seam hidden by a scarf as it just keeps repopping and I gave up on fixing it. The Mephiles body pillow I bought on TEMU using a customized single sided body pillow cover listing and a drawing I made of Mephiles.
I will have to wait for my dad to repair one of the 360s (have one with fans that are louder than reasonable, like lawnmower loud, and one with a failing disk drive that requires multiple tries to read disks after a particularly humid summer) to try the game for the first time, like actually play it to as far as someone who's bad at platformers can get (I can't easily judge distance, as long as the game is more fun than Billy the Wizard for the Wii I'll be fine with playing it, and since 06 has Mephiles it'll be played 'til the disk gets disk rot so bad it isn't able to be recognized by the 360, I'll even have the disk downloaded to the 360 to quiet the disk drive.
Somehow I didn't see this until now, but nice!
Be mindful if this is your first time playing the game: It's absolutely a slog to get through if you don't know the tricks and bugs to make it easier.
A few tips, and I use "few" loosely :
Omega can glide upwards if you hit a corner just right. Use this to get higher up in places like Dusty Desert to have more momentum to bypass the platforming. He does not run out of glide energy due to that part not being implemented, so you can just hold the glide button after reaching as high as you want and just cost to your target.
Do not try to climb the walls as Knuckles or Rouge in Flame Core. The Game Grumps aren't lying on that, the hit detection is atrocious and you will have too much problems trying to jump loose.
Some levels work the same was as the old Sonic Adventure Clipping Glitch. You can skip certain character sections by hitting the right spot on some gates. Check for some of them on YouTube, there's some great examples.
The Box Mission where you count the boxes? Get some paper ready, because the loading time can either make you forget, or there's a few trick question moments that will send you back to square one. Every. Single. Action. There. Is. A. Loading. Screen.
Don't bother with the Billiards of Doom with Silver in Dusty Desert. Just grab some boxes, put them by the door, jump on the highest one, use Psychoknesis by levitating while on top of the box. You will clip through the door and completely skip the puzzle, saving you a good four or five minutes.
Silver has limited psychic abilities to use constantly without draining the gauge. Repeatedly tap the hover button quickly as you leap across any sort of pit and aim for the nearest ledge, platform, or pole. It's tough, but if you master this, you don't need to use Silver on those stupid mercury balls in Aquatic Base, and just leapfrog onto the poles of each laser gate.
Sonic's shoe gems are totally botched. The best gems are the Red one ((slows down time as long as you hold the action button down)), the Yellow one ((creates a static force that collects nearby rings, but it doesn't shield you)), and the Purple one ((most expensive, can be obtained after grinding or replaying the last level if desperate, it shrinks you down and makes you a tiny bit faster, and UNLIMITED JUMP ability to where you can hit the geometry of the sky or take a running leap and spam it to cross areas quickly without platforming))
Silver's powers are nerfed. Just grab things with them and throw. The fancy tricks are hard to do, unless you have a lot of debris to double tap the triggers to do some huge levitation launch or something.
Sand will kill you. Do not touch the sand.
Water will kill you. Do not touch the water.
Lava will only kill you if you don't have any Rings left. Keep ahold of at least one Ring and you can cross it with some damage.
Don't fight the camera. If the camera is on autopilot, just let go of the controls until you coast to a stop. This is why that one loop in Wave Ocean is an early mood killer. You don't fight the camera. Just don't.
Silver can't do Light Speed Dash. At all. He also can't Spin Dash.
Don't play the Multiplayer. It's not fun. Silver is too OP.
Mephiles' boss battles are relatively scripted. You cannot hit him before using Chaos Boost, UNLESS there is a small window for a glitch where you land a hit before the guage runs out the first time.
Iblis' boss battles are also quite scripted. Once he throws the fireball at you in the Phase 3 stage with Silver, use the Psychoknesis power to stop it and launch it back. This move is never explained or used anywhere again. Be sure to hit him enough before that, or he will just walk up and smash the last platform and trigger a lost life.
Shadow's hovercraft can and will capsize in water and sand. Do not move too fast in them, you will die.
Shadow's beefy tank of a car is really powerful to smash through things, but is difficult to turn on a dime. It uses the same driving principles as a GTA car, and you need to be careful taking tight turns. Use it to crash down the searchlights by getting a vantage point and shooting missiles. It's way more efficient than climbing the towers yourself.
Shadow's motorcycle. It's pretty cool. There is no easy way to do the Mach Speed portion of Radical Train, just try no to swerve unless needed, or you will ride off a cliff and die.
Tails' Dummy Rings, contrary to popular belief, are in fact really easy to distinguish from real Rings. The Dummy Rings tip over and fall down, the real Rings do not.
When attacked by a horde of robots or monsters, aim for either the biggest one or the one in the center first. Sometimes their destruction will set off a chain reaction that clears the rest out faster and gets you bonus points.
Hold down the trigger button while using Chaos Spear as Shadow to lock you in the air and rotate wherever you want to aim. He will jump up just a little bit and you can use that as momentum to pass difficult platforming.
Don't use Amy's invisibility skills unless required. You have no protection while invisible.
Blaze is fast, but she will shoot off in the aimed direction if you try to do a fire claw move without a wall or spring nearby.
Want to hear the Japanese voice tracks? Set the Xbox 360 console to Japanese ((and remember your steps to get to the settings to set it back later, if you can't read it)), and it will active the game's Japanese audio tracks, and switch out "Sweet Dreams 06 AKON MIX" for "SWEET SWEET SWEET 06 AKON MIX", which is the same song, except that Dreams Come True's portion is now entirely in Japanese. Also, all the text will be in Japanese. The subtitles will be in Japanese, except for Sonic's "Engrish" phrases. But also, you'll get to hear Mephiles say "Boku wa-" when introducing himself, and also "Nani??" when Shadow rejects his offer the last time. I recommend this option after you've gotten incredibly familiar with the game's settings and dialogue.
You can load up your own music, by the way! Do you have any songs saved into the Xbox hard drive after ripping music discs on it? Or maybe you have a USB stick or music playing with USB compatibility? Plug that bad boy in and hit the big shiny button in the middle of the controller to pull up the mini-menu and select your tracks through the media player, and now all incidental music has been replaced with your loaded playlist.
Alternately, wanna see something really creepy? Do the exact same steps for the music player, but then PAUSE ((not STOP)) the music. Jump back into the game. Notice anything? That's right, all ambient music has been completely stopped, and the only sounds are your footstep and character sounds. Soleanna is incredibly dead without the music, especially with the NPCs on loop. This also applies to the in-engine cutscenes. Awkward silences abound!
This game is spiritually a successor to Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, and it shows. Keep any eye out for visual references and level gimmick callbacks.
Dusty Desert can go fall in a ditch
I have yet to get past Wave Ocean due to being bad enough at platformers that the only platformer I've actually beaten is Kirby's Epic Yarn. And if I were to like change the language of the 360 it'd be to French because that'd be more useful for me considering I live in Quebec and have resorted to using a DS game to teach myself french as I am more fluent in Klingon than French at this point.
I've got the case art done though.
Also I've gotten fuse beads and after making a freehand heart and bee after skill issuing big projects i went on spriter's resource and then found the sitting Darkwing plush sprite from the NES version of the Darkwing Duck game and made it in the colors of Negaduck, I then made like edited versions of the sprite mentally to make the others, then used ibis paint on my phone with a single pixel bush to draw the sprites in case the ironing failed. Next I made the Mephiles and he was the biggest successful fuse bead project I've made. The fictosexuality flag was like pixel art I made in a website that's normally used for planned pooling with variegated yarn, the fuse beads gone all screwy while ironing but he, it makes it look cool. The Negaduck with a double barrel is referenced from the NES Darkwing Duck game's sprite sheet for Darkwing but like edited to have an actual gun.
Sorry about how much I rambled on perler beads.
This is the controller I have to suffer through, don't ask what happened to it, I don't know either, my dad didn't explain the stick damage.
This is what my 2DS looks like.
My Vita, the background music of the theme on my Vita is Past the Point of Rescue by Hal Ketchum because of... reasons.
Also Mephiles Furby.
So I have a 360, had to record the fucker to get it to read. Also will have to deal with a stick that's partially gone.
So I nodded my DSi because I couldn't help myself and wanted to play another console Katamari game. Korogashi Puzzle Katamari Damacy, a Japanese DSiware exclusive.
It's fun, tetris with a bit of Katamari thrown in. All great menu design.
I'm gonna play each planet fully before going to the next.
It's challenging sometimes.
Ok, so, I'm drawing Mephiles disemboweling a clone of himself because I can, like I'm perfecting my skills of using Art Academy on my DS Lite by drawing hard gore.
Sorry about me drawing this, I just find it neat.
I have a decent stack of DS games, three more coming in and the guitar hero guitar grip grip skin is a custom made by me.
I just got a great DS game in the mail, gonna spend hours drawing Mephiles using it just because I can.
Close up of the screen.
This is a serious digital art program, so amazing for me to use.
Money well spent. It feels so premium, like it would've cost a lot but it was cheaper than the DS ram expansion pack I had to buy.
Pictochat on a ds is honestly the best drawing medium sometimes.
Mario Kart DS can still be played online.
Here's the DNS settings.
You'll need in insecure wifi so like any that aren't password protected.
Ok, so, I got money now, and I am feeling guilty for buying reasonable stuff like a 115$ DS Lite in acceptable condition off Amazon (it was 100$, but taxes) and other things I bought aren't feeling too much like something to be guilty about.
I made an interesting discovery...
So the jellyfish jelly that SpongeBob slides along on his tongue in SpongeBob SquarePants Truth or Square looks visually similar to Mephiles when he puddle. Since Sonic 06 came out first that means Mephiles was around before the similarly textured pink sludge.
The floor in the Mephiles boss fight in Sonado Generations (c'mon, the game is titled Sonic X Shadow Generations, it's a shortening that was just waiting to happen) has a similar design to both things, don't know if I'm just really sleep deprived or if I'm on to something.
Also the Dark Gaia minions in Unleashed along with Dark Gaia exude purple mist like Mephiles.

Bloons TD is incredibly funny from a game design perspective in some ways. For instance, the white balloon. It’s immune to being frozen. Being frozen is a debuff only applied by one monkey (with the exception of a couple somewhat lategame upgrades) and without certain upgrades, freezing is all that one monkey can do.
Absolute hater behavior, honestly
Even funnier is when you compare this to the white balloon's counterpart, the black balloon. It's immune to explosions.
In the original game, when there were only five towers, this made sense. Each balloon was immune to what would be a large chunk of your defenses, what with the explosive tower being the only AoE and the freezing tower being the only way to slow things down.
As time has gone on, however, we've had a lot more towers, a lot of which can blow things up, so black bloons stay semi-relevant.
There's still only one tower that freezes stuff.
Mermonkey x-2-x and above can freeze, so can 4-x-x and up Druids and so can the Cold Sentry that Sentry Expert throws out occasionally.
Breadbug pie!
I think it's no mere coincidence most cryptid sightings look just like ugly and/or hairy people. Those are ugly hairy people.
Did you know all bigfoot sightings coincide with areas where people who are known to own fursuits are reported to live.
