Halloween’s coming! And so am I!
After a year of waiting for an excuse, I finally got an excuse to try out the risograph at @labiblioteka. It’s a lovely lo-fi format that sits in the middle of a ven diagram of screen and digital printing. The slightly unpredictable results are a wonderful antidote to the perfect litho and digital printing we usually strive for. Here are some riso posters with all their glorious and quirky imperfections. https://www.instagram.com/p/B13dWrSHQ58/?igshid=m7j0ynbpdsoj
I don’t even like The Beatles. Sorry not sorry. I like the way you could tell them apart just from the haircuts though. I might do a screen print of this. https://www.instagram.com/p/BosGl7VAIxP/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=e895mcd672za
A couple of years ago we visited the Keukenhof tulip gardens in the Netherlands. This picture has nothing to do with it except that I wanted to draw some tulips. And that I want to avoid writing an artist biography even more… https://www.instagram.com/p/BtO9Rt6Atgg/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ibrcz8yb7nbu
What better way of procrastinating when you’re trying to write a funding bid than to doodle? I resisted the urge to make the maze impossible to cross... https://www.instagram.com/p/BtJRxfagJDP/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=j7x9g3oc3ny1
Jonathan Cook’s work, ‘Car Free Zone’ turns into a piece of performance art at the preview night of the 20x20 exhibition. It’s on @accessspace #sheffield until 28th February. https://www.instagram.com/p/BtJHwL1gf_q/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=zgyk3g3m1e5w
Three of my favourite pieces at the 20x20 exhibition @accessspace From left to right: ‘Trees Colours II’ by @helenpurdie, ‘Radicle’ by Cee Clare Lee and ‘In Ribbons’ by @itsnippedmyheart The exhibition is on in #sheffield until 28th February. https://www.instagram.com/p/BtJG8vOg00R/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=k812f5wxu3um
Here’s my entry – the middle of top row – in 20x20 exhibition @accessspace I’m very happy with the fine company it is keeping. https://www.instagram.com/p/BtJFnthgPYI/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=cgdq877k5h2s

I made. Now I’m taking bits off it.
This could take a while.
