Why should you be afraid of losing the relationship if they don’t value you enough to change their behavior?
Something I need to remind myself of (via 13marts)
To my dear toxic friend:
I cared I cared too much I was there for you Even when you weren’t there for me I fully supported you with everything Even though you barely supported me I defended you so many times… Even though my family and my other friends strongly disliked you… I never judged you Even though you did judge me I was loyal to you So loyal… And you kept saying shit about me at my back… I kept trying to save our friendship Even when you were constantly pushing me away I even tried to convince myself that I was the problem, as you stated many times… But I wasn’t
My other friends kept asking me “Why are you still friends with her?” And I wouldn’t be able to answer that Why? Because I was scared that they might be right But I didn’t want them to be right I didn’t want to listen Because I was loyal to you, because I cared about you, because I loved you and still considered you my friend
Big mistake
And the cost was high So fucking high
You made me feel shitty about myself You made me feel like I was always wrong You made me fight with my family so many fucking times You made lose my own confidence… My personality… My happiness… You even crushed my dreams and made fun of them with others… You even made me feel bad and guilty about good things that happened to me
How stupid I was
I LOST MYSELF BECAUSE OF YOU
And I feel so bad right now So angry for being at your side 8 fucking years of my life that are never gonna come back So sad for trusting you and believing our friendship was worth it Even though deep down I knew it wasn’t
Im done with crying over you I’m done with suffering I’m done with pain I’m done with YOU So fucking done Don’t expect me to go to you begging for your forgiveness because that won’t happen ever again
I don’t need you I found myself again And I realized That I care and love myself And I deserve better I’m leaving your side Our friendship is over because YOU lost ME
You won’t crush me again Because now I’m stronger and wiser And if you even dare to try I’ll crush you.
I constantly helped my friend because I wanted to. There came a day though when I needed her and she wasn’t there. I took a step back and thought, all the things I do for her, what has she ever truly done for me?

My guess is, if this relationship were a romantic one, you’d know the answer: It’s time to break up. But friendships are tricky; they’re less formal, and yet so much more intense at times.

Eventually you learn in life some people are just toxic and you’re better off without them. The only thing you can control is how long you let them stay in your life.
(via nextstoptrainwreck)
There comes a time when you need to get rid of poisonous people and completely remove them from your life. There’s people who bring you down, or make you feel like you don’t belong. They remind you of an uneasy past and make you think of pain you went through. Why do we keep these people close to us? Spending our lives checking up on there social media accounts, viewing their snapchat story. We do it to anger ourselves, I’m sure of it. Today I decided, enough is enough. I’ve cleansed my life of people who only cause my pain, anger, resentment. Why don’t you?
I was just thinking about toxic friends I used to have. (via frxgilelife)

Alright, listen up writers, if you’re getting serious about hunkering down and starting a novel, a really helpful tool is Scrivener. I wish I’d had it before when I was writing my book, but even now in the editing stage it’s helping me. A lot of professional writers use this software apparently, yet somehow I didn’t hear about this until a few days ago.
Simply put, Scrivener formats your draft, research, and whatever else you need for your writing project, all into one place. It’s especially helpful for fantasy writers because you can have all those helpful character/location/world sheets right there to draw reference from. They even include bare bones sheets with the download. If you don’t like that, you can even make your own templates as you go along, and not just for characters.
It’s almost magical in its design. You can tell it was definitely made by a writer FOR writers. It let’s you flip through chapters easily, story board, and has so many other awesome features.
Best of all, it’s only 40 bucks. But never fear because they give you a 30 day free trial (I’m looking at you NaNoWriMow-ers!). And better yet, those thirty days only count the days you open the software up and actually use it. For me, it’s been used pretty much everyday since I got it. Scrivener actually has broken me out of my writers block because it makes it so simple to work through.
Wait did I say best of all before? Best of all really is that it autosaves so the chance of losing work is greatly reduced. It really is an amazing peice of technology made just for writers (screen writers, short stories, fiction, non fiction) and I 10/10 recommend it.
TL;DR: Scrivener is an awesome formating tool for writers
When you’re gone, I miss the feel of you on my skin.

I’m going to delete this blog later tonight, I’m pretty sure and move over to my new one for a fresh start with a writing blog. I’d love it if my followers would like to follow that account, but I will be posting more personal content, a lot to do with my thoughts, life, and writing. It’s called kiraswriterthings and I hope to see you there. The whole dual blog is annoying already. If not, thanks for everything
If you don’t mind a little advice? I have exactly 5 blogs, that I use, all with different emails, and use three of them regularly. Why not keep this one and just make a writing blog that is focused on that, and advertise to your followers on here. Just an idea! :)
Ah the thing is I already have made that blog and it's attached to this account. Just in the last few days I've made so many mistakes already confusing the two blogs. I'd rather focus more on my other blog
