Stubborn pain in the ass. Sometimes he wonders why they’re friends at all.
He catches up to her in a few easy strides.

"And I’m pretty sure I don’t want it to stop.“
She spins around the pole she’s grabbed onto as they walk down the deck. The result is her arms splayed dramatically, back against the pole as she tilts her face up to the cool night air. "I want to die of lesbian heartbreak, my darling Leopold.”
“Watching you pine gives me a headache.”
He’s so tired of watching it, her dancing around her more than obvious infatuation. Crush. Whatever. For the smuggler.
"Exactly, my gigantic friend.“
“I’m pretty sure that avoiding the whole thing, isn’t going to make it stop.”
"Ugh, shut up.“
“She’s not going to know, if you don’t tell her.”
“So, are you going to tell her this time?” Cas is due into port in the next 24 hours.
"I swear to God, if this is another Gregor- shoot him.“
That had been a short, albeit rough, rebellion. Gem didn’t feel up to any more assassination attempts though, not after losing another cargo.
“With pleasure. Might just do it anyway. Just in case.”
That was... not a fond memory. Even if it had been how they found out they could trust Nico.
He didn’t have to say anymore, she knew exactly who they were looking for. ”They only have one new member.”
"Well then." He hooks the tablet projector onto his belt, making an after you motion with his other hand. They had some questions to ask.
”Not until the end of the year, and naturally Nico fucked it up.” Now whoever stole the extra cargo was going to get all of Gem’s wrath meant for Nico. ”Which cargo was it? Does it have a designation number?”
"Cargo number.... A-76. Looks like..." He scrolls further down in the file. "Tiger's crew brought it in."
”Not Nico because apparently the V-36 cargo was a set up.”
"Well that's just... wonderful." He sighs. Something always had to go wrong. "When's the next shipment due in?"
"There's a lot of shit missing from this shipment Gem. A lot more than usual. Who brought it in?"
