We used to say we were doing well, but when our deepest wound is reopened, every tear we're holding back turns into a waterfall, the pain we've experienced lingers, and suddenly the memories slowly come back to life.

A Priest once told me that we will never find the peace we are looking for if we keep holding back our pain. If we want peace, we must start doing something to close that chapter.
