Elementary Sherlock and Joan relationship growth

A friend of mine who doesn’t have access to tumblr asked me to compile dialog from Elementary that shows the growth of the relationship between Sherlock and Joan, and what kind of love it is (I think every kind). It took me awhile to put together a list of quotes from episode transcripts, trying to add dialog from each season, and adding a little annotation, so I thought I might as well post it here.

1x16: Sherlock:  I am better with you, Watson. Um, I’m sharper, I’m more focused. Difficult to say why, exactly. Perhaps, in time, I’ll solve that, as well.

1x21: Sherlock: The thing that’s different about me, empirically speaking is you. Joan: That is one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me.

1x22: Sherlock to Joan:  It’s gonna be a very delicate conversation. For what it’s worth, he’s not bringing his wife either.

1x24:  Joan to Sherlock: You named a bee after me?  You named a bee after me
