If you're in a car park looking for a space and you see a man getting into his car, you might wait for him to leave so you can have his space. What you wouldn't do is sit there and beep at him to make him hurry up. But that's what I witnessed today. A disabled man was getting into his car, which was parked in a disabled space, and a woman in a Range Rover waited with her car practically touching the bumper of this man's car and beeped at him continually while he slowly put his shopping away and got into the car. As if that wasn't bad enough, once this awful woman had parked, she climbed out of her obnoxious vehicle and trotted across the road to M&S in her high heels, showing no signs of a disability that would require her to need the disabled space she had forced her way into. People like her make me incredibly angry and I hope her stupid car gets run over by a tank.

Blue is getting a new brushed aluminium dashboard soon - question is do I leave it as it is or paint it? What colour?

Looks like Blue and I might have to swim home today, wish us luck. Minis and flooded roads are not an ideal combination.

Got some car maintenance to do this weekend after my dad finally identified the cause of Blue's mysterious rattling noise. I can't help but wonder what other problems we'll find along the way. It's all part of the fun of Mini ownership though, of course.

I'm going to use my first post on this blog to advertise this wonderful company who make all sorts of brilliant Mini t shirts and hoodies. This is my personal favourite, as Blue and I do a lot of 'bombing down the motorway' (we can often be found racing along at 60mph on the M4 from my home in South Wales, and down the M5 to Somerset, where Blue will inevitably give up and break down a short distance from my boyfriend's house, leaving him to patiently come and rescue us in his lovely shiny new efficient German car) (I have veered wildly off track with that little anecdote, I apologise. What I was saying is that Dooderwear are Good People and you should definitely buy their t shirts)
