I want to clarify that even though Demitasse is "naked" in this pic, this is only a representation of her mental state. In front of him she feels exposed, and vulnerable because of her feelings for him. However this is also a showcase of how much she trusts him to be in such a state before him. Ignatius is not the friendliest and most approachable person in spite of his status. However- he notices the look on her face. You can see the reflection of his eye in hers and in this moment he can see that this is not a regular interraction, but rather a cue for him to reassure and comfort her. Naturally he may have rolled his eyes and told her she's being ridiculous. A mistake he made before with someone else. Would you say he learned his lesson? NGL deeply emotional piece for me. Probably some subconcious cope.
