Gone girl by Gillian Flynn Review

Heyy, its been a while since i posted something here. I finally finished reading Gone Girl, and I wanna share my thoughts on it. I really liked the book, but it has some issues that disappointed me. The biggest problem is the beginning, and its why I took some months to read it. Its just soooo slow and boring that if I hadn't watched the movie I would probably give up on reading it. On the other side, the second part of the first chapter and the second chapter made me want to isolate myself to spend the whole day reading lol, and it reminded me of why I love the movie so much. It didn't last for too long, though, because the last chapter was almost just as boring as the first pages. I liked it, it made me reflect a lot on Amy's and Nick’s relationship, and it consolidated how they completed each other in a toxic and explosive way, but it just seemed slow compared to the rest of the book, and overly succinct. I give this book a  ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆  ☆ ☆. The characters and their relationships really fascinated me, but the pacing of the book made it kind of hard to read, but in general it was a really good book.
