yoongi has bright, alluring flames that want to burn down his heart. jungkook has a numbness on his chest that feels like a cold wind rattling an empty house. but, most importantly, they also have each other.

or, alternatively: the boys are enjoying the night in namjoon’s place, having a good time filled with alcohol, food and laughter by a bonfire. jungkook notices that yoongi seems a little bit off, too focused on the fire, eyes burning with ghosts of the past. he decides to take him on a walk, show him the one place in the city that he, despite not knowing why, keeps feeling drawn to and dreaming of. with the burning city below them and the briskly wind on their skins, they find hope and strength in one another.

after finding out he was scammed, jungkook now has a roommate he did not ask for, always giving him the stink eye but is barely home. jungkook doesn't know what to do for the older, yoongi, to stop hating him but is determined to become friends with him instead, because, well they both got scammed and now have an apartment they both bought.
