Having already supplied Los Angeles with bamboo gardens after the Rodney King riots in South Central Los Angeles, the fires in Malibu and in Northridge after its earthquake, artist Stephen Glassman is now embarking on a new project called Urban Air in an effort to change billboards into hanging bamboo gardens.
The installments will be Wi-Fi hotspots and will contain sensors that collect and transmit local climate data such as temperature and air quality. The project has already succeeded in raising the public’s interest with cities from around the world wanting to get in on the action. Summit Media has also agreed to donate some of its billboards to the cause.

MAGIKARP
Bringing hope and joy into all our lives <3
Magikarp is based on the story that a carp who swims up stream and fights hard enough can become a dragon.
It is a good story.
I choose to believe it is also totally true :D
High Speed Flower Explosions
Photographer Martin Klimas captures the destruction of flowers in this high speed series called Rapid Bloom where he drops flowers into liquid nitrogen and then shoots them with an air gun from behind. Klimas wanted to show the flower in one single shot, a flower in full bloom, turned into a fascinating piece of abstract art.
