They leaned on a branch next to you, head tilted and claws tapping against the tree.*

*They bite their lip a little harder, expression twisting into.. something at that last part. They're silent for a while, simply overpreening their wings out of habit. Once they gain enough courage to speak, they look up at Sin.*

"Just that? No strings attached?"

*They glanced at your wings, tapping your hand gently with a claw, silently telling you to stop picking at your feathers.*

*It was rather obvious they were.. VERY scared.*

*Silently, they shifted their form- still serpentine, but now only a little taller than you were. They picked an apple from a branch near them, looking at it for a moment before slithering across the branches to you and gently placing it in your hands.

It.. felt like a normal apple. A slightly more vibrant red, but it was oddly cool in your hands, a stark contrast to the ovenlike surroundings.

Sin was silent, and they seemed slightly nervous.*

*It tastes like a normal apple, but sweeter- and slightly metallic. The inside of the fruit is pitch black, but its the right texture.

The first thing you notice is that the intense heat of nedE seems much more comfortable. The second thing you notice is a slight tiredness- not enough to fall asleep, enough to be a little sleepy.

And then, two things hit you at once. A torrent of sinful thoughts, like ones you've had in past but much more severe and almost overwhelming, and an odd feeling bubbling in your chest and quickly spreading through your body.

Its somewhere between a physical sensation and an emotion, but what it is isnt very important to you right now, because it feels so, so good.

Your muscles relax involuntarily, any nervous thoughts your mind once held completely drowned out by sinful bliss.

The sinful thoughts flooding your mind like a tidal wave feel almost natural, like they had always been there. Like they were supposed to be there. Like you wanted them to be there.

The hand holding the apple didnt relax quite as much as the rest of your muscles, and was still keeping a gentle grip on it.

You feel an slight temptation to take another bite- enough to overcome easily, but it was there.

Sin still seemed nervous, but less nervous now that they knew the affects had set in.*

The tree was covered in flowers, with deep, red leaves and vines tangles around its branches and growing downwards, some of which reached down to the very bottom of the tree.

There were more apples as well- despite the fact that everythinv here was shades of red and black, you could make out every little thing.

The longer you had the apple in hand, the more the temptation grew.*

*They grimaced at the sight, already overthinking their choice. They stared at the vibrant fruit, weighing it in their hands as their wings moved closer to their body for comfort.*

*They always hated taking a bite out of apples whole.*

*Sighing with shaky breath, they bring the fruit up to their mouth, struggling for a moment before taking a bite out of it, trying to pinpoint the taste.*

*It tastes like a normal apple, but sweeter- and slightly metallic. The inside of the fruit is pitch black, but its the right texture.

The first thing you notice is that the intense heat of nedE seems much more comfortable. The second thing you notice is a slight tiredness- not enough to fall asleep, enough to be a little sleepy.

And then, two things hit you at once. A torrent of sinful thoughts, like ones you've had in past but much more severe and almost overwhelming, and an odd feeling bubbling in your chest and quickly spreading through your body.

Its somewhere between a physical sensation and an emotion, but what it is isnt very important to you right now, because it feels so, so good.

Your muscles relax involuntarily, any nervous thoughts your mind once held completely drowned out by sinful bliss.

The sinful thoughts flooding your mind like a tidal wave feel almost natural, like they had always been there. Like they were supposed to be there. Like you wanted them to be there.

The hand holding the apple didnt relax quite as much as the rest of your muscles, and was still keeping a gentle grip on it.

You feel an slight temptation to take another bite- enough to overcome easily, but it was there.

Sin still seemed nervous, but less nervous now that they knew the affects had set in.*

*Zen stares at the apple for a moment, shifting their hold on it for a moment.*

"That.. wasn't so bad."

*It sounded strange, coming out of their mouth, but they didn't seem to notice all that well. They stretched their wings out, marveling at the change in temperature. The iridescent sheen of their feathers was more noticeable, but only a little from far away.*

"...Yeah."

*Their anxiety seemed to evaporate when you spoke, and they smiled, embracing you and nuzzling your cheek.*

" You feel better, Dove? "

*They let out a small giggle, nodding briefly and accepting the embrace.*

"Y-yeah. Yeah, I do."

*They look around the tree, finally actually taking time to admire different aspects about it.*

*Sin purred, hugging you slightly tighter, closing their eye and leaning on your chest.

The tree was covered in flowers, with deep, red leaves and vines tangles around its branches and growing downwards, some of which reached down to the very bottom of the tree.

There were more apples as well- despite the fact that everythinv here was shades of red and black, you could make out every little thing.

The longer you had the apple in hand, the more the temptation grew.*

*They looked back down at the apple, staring at it intensely before averting their gaze. They looked around a little more, actually taking time to appreciate the scenery around them.*

"Uhm.. I've heard of other things in nedE..."

" Like what? "

*Sin had a few guesses. They mostly just wanted to hear you talk.*

" The Sinners, carnivorous plants, boiling water, my Lapses... I could go on. "

*They knew whatever you asked about they could talk about truthfully, now that you were under the influence of the fruit.*

"Erm... Something about 'hell cats'? I believe so, at least. The Garden isn't.. the place for small talk."

*They knitted their brows together as they tried to recall what they were. Perhaps it was the Lapses.*

"..Perhaps the Lapses could be a start. I've heard their name.. names?"

*...Who else called the Lapses "hell cats"?*

" Mmm... "

*They chuckled.

...The mark on your back was starting to get warm, and the temptation to take another bite only grew.*

" The Lapses... multiple of them, yes. I believe... about 49 of them, now. Eight of them are the original ones I created, and the rest are former sinners.

Not every sinner who falls down here becomes one, of course- theres criteria. "

*They slowly took another bite of the apple while listening to Sin, nodding along to their words and thinking to themself out loud.*

"Then.. why call them 'hell cats'?"

~˚✧。Do they.. look like cats or something? That wouldn't make sense...

*Your body was starting to feel heavy, words were a little harder to form. Sin hummed.*

" Hmm...

It's a little nickname for them some of my children have grown fond of- theyre quite affectionate. As long as you're not a sinner, of course. "

*They paused, slowly looking down at their hands and then awkwardly at Sin.*

"Oh. Yyaaaayyy..."

*They cringe internally at how forced their voice sounds, but they try to ignore it.*

"Uhmm... children?"

*They hadn't heard much about the entities ever since they had made their stay in The Garden.*

[uoy-pleh-lli]

*They chuckled, tilting their head.*

" You should lie down, dove.

Yes, my creations. The culminations of humanities wrath, greed, pride... I could go on.

If my brother can have you mortals, I can have something of my own... "

*They carefully sat down, lacing their fingers together instead of holding the apple. They had never really questioned Genesis before.*

"I see..."

[uoy-pleh-lli]

*Sin gently picked the apple from your hands, lying on your chest now that you were lying down. They looked at the second bite taken from the apple and chuckled.*

" Mmm...

See? I told you it would be fine, little dove. "

*They give a brief nod.*

"Yeah... I guess I was just overthinking everything. I'm fine now, I promise."

*Another small sigh. They looked directly up, staring at the bark of the tree. They wondered if there was a sky here.*

" Mhm... "

*They shifted slightly, moving to gently run one of their claws through your feathers, still purring.*

" So soft, and cute... "

*They blushed at that last remark, a small giggle escaping them. The wings on the sides of their head twitched faintly, their eyes staying fixated on the other.*

"Yeah, yeah.. Get it all out."

[uoy-pleh-lli]

*They chuckled, carefully moving to touch your head wings instead of your normal wings. They sighed.*

" I shower you in all these compliments, and yet you rarely tell me what you think of me. "

*They smile.*

" I know you've got plenty of words for me hiding up in that pretty little mind of yours. So why not spill it? It's just you and me, after all. "
