I finished one of two crochet bunnies in making for two of my nieces for Easter. I really had fun making this first chonky little bunny.

Hello 🫶 🤗Welcome to my channel 🥰In this video, I'm gonna show you how to crochet a cat drawstring pouch bag ✨️ super cute Kitty cat drawstri
Saving this here for hopefully future reference
Some of my poor hailstone victims
I now have a whole take out tray full of leaves and cuttings from what was knocked down. Some may be salvageable?
It's a few days after Mother's Day, so of course all the minature rose plants that were sold over the holiday weekend are all marked down. I saw this video on using a minature rose pot as a starting plant for a rose bonsai and was inspired.
I'll post some photos of my new bonsai project when I get started.
I recently got my hands on a grocery store variegated mini jade/elephant bush (portulacaria afra) plant for around $5 (US dollars). The entire seedling pot was actually made of three individual plants, so I split up the pot, adding two of the plants to a larger outdoor box arrangement and planting the third into a small 2" pot for eventual bonsai purposes.
Out of curiosity, I decided to see if I could encourage a couple of tiny trimmings into putting out roots through water propogation. So I put these tiny trimmings into a small vial of water.
We'll see what happens.

I've discovered a new favorite channel on YouTube. "Notion Bonsai" has some great videos about bonsai, and a few that are great for people like myself just starting out in the hobby.
He has uploaded some videos on how to make your own polymer clay bonsai pots, using the kinds of miniature roses you get at big box and grocery stores as bonsai starter trees, and how to start growing bonsai from seeds, air layering, and water propogation.
Due to an accident a few weeks back where one of my garden pots fell and broke, my gollum jade crassula broke into several pieces. Here is all that's left.
For awhile there, I wasn't sure if it was going to recover, or if it was going to completely die back. But today I noticed these tiny little signs of new life sprouting from it's trunk. I'm so happy!
February 4, 2021 My first official sweater for 2021. This is going to be an interesting project because I’m using yarn I’m reclaiming/recy
My first upcycled sweater of 2021. I'm reclaiming the yarn from an old "Anne Taylor Loft" cotton sweater to knit it into a new short sleeved spring/summer pullover for my eldest teenage daughter.
I purchased the original sweater from the Arc Thrift Store for $3. Here are some pics of it:
I've already started ripping apart this sweater. It's now separated into five panels.

It took awhile because work and life got in the way, but I finally measured all the yarn I collected. Roughly, I have 1530 yards now. I've wound them into skeins and this weekend I plan to wash and stretch them to try and smooth out all those kinks.
Want to learn how to reclaim yarn from a knit sweater? Here's a good place to start!
