This pair of Pince-Nez has been specifically crafted, and made with its glass lenses to be worn in place of earrings! Magically, earrings won't stay in place, but head items may be worn with these glasses. The glasses replace Brass Earrings and associated items/models. Creating the XIV nude male mod, Schlongs of XIV
Some time ago, which seems quite a long time for most people in the Textools, and even perhaps to the Neko Sentai community there was no male mod for men in Final Fantasy XIV— and for women, the main mod was Naughty Weaver.
With that background in early 2018 the Textools Discord was overly filled with many, new exciting mods that were made for female bodies, and a few shy ones for male characters— when 3D Importing and Exporting support had improved at the time, it opened the possibility to import custom models, and one of them was PrettyKitty's DILDOZER mod, a simple weapon mod that replaced some weapons with a pink-colored sexual toy.
Creating the male mod was done in a background of uncertainty; people had well-received the alpha versions of a quite-requested female body with male genitalia, and there was a basic mod that turned one of the swimsuits into strap-on. However, mod support for male bodies was generally lacking, just a smaller piece of the modding scene at the time.
Of course, the model that I used at the time from the DILDOZER (later had to clear up things with Pretty Kitty, and also that contributed to the creation of a standard where permissions are involved in the XIV modding community) wasn't the most detailed, or high res one, as it was mostly an experiment in itself.

When that happened, and I shared that I was working on the male body mod, Casaria approached me, offering to do model; at the time Casaria was unfamiliar (like most people) with implementing custom models into XIV with 3DS Max, so they created the model, and what I did was rig it into 3DS Max— attach it to the male bodies, and at the time there was also an existing Ken Body mod, by BeeWise that had proven, and established a few things as a requirement.
Making the male body mod was actually the first time I had tackled a more complete modding project; the mod had to work, and had to also be presentable, as Casaria had thrown hours into creating the perfect model at the time, clear credits were given where due.
Today, male mods in XIV have expanded greatly, there's a dedicated Discord that solely focuses on male mods, their development and sharing while also a lot of mods also exist in the Textools Discord. Later on improvements on the work that was done on Schlongs came out, such as Dong City, the texture mods like Adonis, and even recently the hairy textures, Roegadyn bodies and textures and the package that is NBP by Tzarev.
All in all, I am happy to see that my fears at the time while working on Schlongs were proven wrong; there was interest in creating, and supporting male mods, but it just had to be started. Schlongs still exists as a modder's resource so people can use the meshes and improve them on their own. I’m also happy that the community supported me at the time, from Casaria who provided the models, to the people who answered all my questions.

Tunnel Snakes Jacket & Modding Resource
This mod replaces the Inferno Jacket's textures with a tribute to the Tunnel Snakes from Fallout 3, while also up-scaling the textures to 1K. On the Google Drive folder you can also find the PSD sources for the mod that include a clean version of the jacket with no symbols. You're more than welcome to edit, and create your own mods using this as a resource, but you can't re-upload it on Nexus, and must credit me as the original author in all cases.

Automation Modding in Final Fantasy XIV
Earlier this year, I made the 2K series of mods that focus on up-scaling textures from the game, and it was quite a task that I set out to do; not only there were unknown limitations in terms of the engine used in FF14 which prompted questions such as "Will this actually work, or will the game just crash and I wasted my time?" and at the time I was faced with two main challenges.
One big challenge was the task in itself, as the amount of textures totaled over above a thousand textures, of which 60% is hair textures, and the rest is taken by each face, and individual face paint was to upscale these textures in a reasonable time, and to keep track of them consistently.
The second challenge was the sheer file size, uploading and managing a mod that is over 3.3 GB in size, compressed, and when it's loose we're looking at roughly about 7 GB isn't that easy especially with a slow internet speed, so unlike most mods out there this one will remain one of the largest single, mod that isn't some sort of collection with many mods thrown in for quite a while.

To solve the first problem, I looked at no further than automating the up-scaling process in Photoshop. For those unfamiliar with the Action feature, Photoshop comes with an Actions menu, and from there you can set up quickly some customized macros to handle different tasks for you. Let's say you have an album you took at sunset, and that album is about 50 pictures, but the color correction you want to do on them isn't that different, so you can set up an Action, and there you go, you can just run the Action again and again until you're done, or you can simply go down and use the Batch function under the Automate selection in the File menu, which lets you target specific folders and you can select a specific action to take for the entire folder.

So after exporting an entire race's worth of textures, let's say Elezen, I exported all of them inside a folder that contained the textures, and I let Photoshop with my custom actions upscale each texture with Preserve Details 2.0. Now, locally the mods were separated by race, and then imported back to the Textools— to import into Textools I'd be repeating a lot of key presses, and to automate that at the time I used Razer Synapse to create macros that navigate and import a texture then go back to the drop down and select the next entry, and import. (This process can be automated as well with other software, such as auto hot key, allowing to save a lot of time from doing manual work)
In the end, when all the batches were done, and the races were complete the 2K series mods were made, put into ttmps, and uploaded. This process allowed creating an upscale of over a thousand textures over three mods. You can now find all the 2K series mods, Hairlift, Facelift and Facepaints on the Textools Discord, under #sfw_unisex_releases.
