“oh, c’mon.. you’re getting on it.” cameron grinned down at her, his arm lazily resting around her shoulders as he watched the ride zoom past them. it did seem pretty insane, but he was still making abbott get on it. he knew she’d like it.. eventually. it might take him a long time convincing, but they’d get there. “alright, fine.. you don’t want to get on it.” he shrugged then, turning away as if he was prepared to move away from it and admit defeat, though he swiftly turned around and ducked down, lifting her up onto his shoulders as he walked further up the line. “we’re getting on this ride, abb!! you can hold my hand on it if it makes you feel any better!!”
abbott releases a loud sigh, relief causing her body to sag a bit. thank god, he wasn’t going to make her ride it. she should have known, though, that it was too good to be true. just as she’d turned on her heel to follow him, he’d swooped back in, tossing her over his shoulder. “betrayal !” abbott shrieks, pounding her fists on his back. “cameron williams, put me down right this instant ! oh my god, i’m going to murder you ! i’m going to actually murder you, and when they ask me what happened to you, i’m going to explain in detail exactly why i did it.” this was the ultimate crossing of all lines drawn. this was an act of war, one that she would certainly wage just as soon as she was safely placed back on the ground. “you’re so dead, sinclair. dead as a door nail.”
