Vanlife Ways Pack Part I

Hellooo guys! Here it is my take on van/rv lifestyle for sims! I was really after something like this for my sims and could not find anything that I loved, so I made it myself! I wanted something classic, nostalgic and fun for this pack so I went directly to the old classic RV style and I tried my best to match sims 4 aesthetic. Here's a few inpos here, here and here.

Anyway I really really reaaally loved how this turned out! And I hope you guys like it as much as I loved making these! 💛

Better Or Birth

🍼 Customizable Birth Documents 🍼

HBD to me - I am 32! For my birthday set this year I decided to do customizable birth certificates and ultrasounds. Currently, the only way in the game to get a birth certificate is to have a baby at the hospital. When you do get it, you have to your sim 'View' it in order to see who's birth certificate it is.

Now you can buy a birth certificate or ultrasound at any time and store a chosen sim to it. When you hover over it, the tooltip will say who the document belongs to. The ultrasounds can also be placed in any corkboard slot. Out now for patrons, public Aug 4.

S'more Options

For the love of Bob Pancakes this took waaaaaay longer than I expected. Similar to the cupcake machine pastry bag, you initiate cooking s'mores by clicking on either the sign or tray. From here, you can choose how you want to cook the s'mores and what serving size you want.

Landgraab Self Storage Functional Garage Door

These garage doors aren't just for looks - they are fully functional doors with custom animations! They function just like most doors in the game, but with custom animations and sound effects! As your sim walks through them they will automatically open/close and also have all the typical locking options.

But it gets even better - these doors are also storage so your sims can store items directly in the door's inventory! Consumable items that are stored in the door will decay slower than in the world.

These are base game compatible, but if you have City Living there are 20 additional swatches. The base game versions come in plain colors including some "worn" looking styles that would look good for a R2R challenge. The download includes both versions, but the CL ones will only be visible if you have that pack installed.

Play by clicking the ground on any lot, even while traveling, to try and snatch one

If you can collect 10 before the timer ends your sim will win a voidcritter-themed prize

General Notes

This is not an override of any of the existing voidcritter items. You can still use the battle station and all existing interactions

Currently sims cannot play other sims that are in the same household – I plan to add this in future updates

Sims will prefer to put the tablet back into their inventory instead of randomly on the ground

All of the interactions that involve the Voidcritter collectible cards require the Kids Room Stuff pack. The shopping and Voidcritter Go features are base game compatible.

This telephone lets your toddler to do a number of interactions

All calling interactions increase both their imagination and communication skill

and they will get unique moodlets at the end of the interaction!

Adult and Child sim can also use the telephone to teach toddlers to talk

Ultimutt Indoor Dog Potty Pads

Whew! This one was a doozy. I took all your feedback from the livestream, discord, and here to make this realistic and also helpful! 

Here are the deeeeets:

🚽 STYLES 🚽

3 styles each with different levels of absorbency/uses:

Newspaper (Low/~2 uses)

Trainer Pads (Moderate/~4 uses)

Grass (High/~6 uses)

🐾 INTERACTIONS 🐾

Usable indoors by dogs of any age

Can also be used outside, off-grid, and on balconies

Potty trained dogs will use autonomously as needed

Untrained dogs can be commanded to use the pads by selecting the pad

Dogs commanded to use the pad will gain potty training skills

The pads cannot be used, either autonomously or through commands, if the pads are filthy

For my cheaters out there, shift+click on the pads to immediatly potty train a dog of your choice

📃 FINAL NOTES 📃

When a sim first cleans up a pad, they will not immediately clean up the poop

Most sims (exception of slobs and a few other traits) will autonomously pick up all the poop after replacing the pad

The visual stains on the pads may not change with every and is dependent on absorbency level and number of uses it can handle

If these are placed outside or doors are unlocked, dogs may autonomously choose a more “desirable” object instead of the pads

I have made an effort with all of my recent objects to add tooltips to help you use them properly

Tooltips on the pads highlight some use requirements and also specify dirtiness state

Most sims (exception of slobs and a few other traits) will autonomously pick up all the poop after replacing the pad

📢 FOR THE SIMMIES IN THE BACK  📢

If your dog is whining at the door instead of using the pad:

Indoor pad(s) are filthy and need to be cleaned

The dog is not potty trained

Untrained dogs can be commanded to use the pads as long as they aren’t filthy

Over The Counter Wall-Mounted Countertops

All of the countertops in the ‘Over The Counter’ set are base game compatible. They have a small footprint size of 1x2 tiles which accommodates two chairs. Because there is no base to them, it does not allow dishwashers or sinks to be placed in them. Sims can sit at the chairs, eat, read, write and other various interactions.

Because they are also super narrow, it doesnt allow things like appliances to fit on them. I am working on some wall cutouts to go with these to place over them! So stay tuned!

Modern Family Portrait

The frames are BGC and auto generates a posed photo of your family! You can change their outfits and poses at any time! You can also lock the photo which will maintain the current settings - this is useful for capturing a moment in time like when your sims were kids etc.

There are two frame styles - one that has some extra detail and the other is plain. Both have lots of swatches!

Huge size reduction and more modern style from the EA version.

Holy Marchrimony Wedding Arches

This is the first set of two that I have for weddings! This one consists of 7 base game compatible wedding arches. All of them are functional - not just deco. There are two styles that have “hidden” arches - a set of small candles and some ground flowers. Functionally, they are the same as regular wedding arches, but this gives you the ability to customize with your own faux arch or you can just use them on their own! Functional Play Kitchen Collab

Many of you tagged me when @pandasamacc made animations for a bunk bed and I was super impressed with the quality of her work. I quickly found we are very similar in our ambitions, desire to push boundaries, and create something new. In early July we decided to team up and create a functional kids play kitchen together. It took two of us almost 3 months to make this and included fully custom animations, tuning, and objects. So, alas, we present to you a fully functional, kids play kitchen.

Quick overview of the play kitchen:

-Base game compatible

Usable by children and toddlers

Two interactions: play & pretend cook

Pretend cook results in a created object

Toddlers: random selection of 1 of 5 custom toys

Children: random selection of 1 of 3 edible recipes

Increases skills

Toddlers: Movement

Children: Motor, Creativity

Temporary outfit modification which adds chef hat

We are making final touches and modifications on the play kitchen now and expect to have it released to our patrons this weekend. The play kitchen will be early access for patrons only until October 17th and then available for everyone for free! You only need to be a patron of either myself or @pandasamacc​ to have early access to this - you do not need to be a patron to both of us. We really put so much effort into this and hope you enjoy it!

House About That Play House Door

This has been a WIP for awhile with many iterations and different implementations. I ended up making this a “door” that you can place on any wall so you can build your own playhouse however you want! You can build a treehouse or make a small play house indoors - the sky is the limit!

This is a base game compatible object usable by both toddlers and children. Up to 4 sims can play in it at one time. Any sims playing in it together will build relationships while also increasing fun and social stats. This can be used autonomously or by directing your sim to play in it.

While playing in the “tent” (I use this for lack of a better word since you can build anything with it) the sims stand still, so there are no animations during the action itself. So it is best to build something so you can’t see the inside while they play.

This also works like a door when you aren’t using it as a play house, so your sims can access anything behind it and walk through it as if it were a door.

In the preview video, I used it in a treehouse which my dear friend and builder @summerrplays​ built for me. The tray files for this will be available for download with the package file!
