The city as we see it from the roof of our home. One day soon we'll be traveling through those concrete streets again

HAPPY NEW YEAR from Urban Façades!! 🎉 Here's to a wonderful 2020!!!!
Built in the late 19th Century, in 1894, the Pearl Stable used to house horses that would transport beer from the grounds of the Pearl Brewery. It's now an event space. If you're ever in San Antonio, I reccomend going to the Farmer's Market at Pearl Brewery on Sundays

Tudor City Tuesday. Loving this beautifully etched column on The Manor apartment building
Tudor City New York, New York
Gorgeous entrance to pre-war building 328 West 108th Street. Built in 1898-1899, this row house was made in the Renaissance Revival style of architecture

Would you take a look at this buoy clad seaside jerkinhead car shed. If you're ever in Marshfield, MA make sure you stay with Rita on Island Street. She's the sweetest
Marshfield, Massachusetts
Cue Coldplay - this building's "so yellow." Also, can you spot the flying birds?
Amsterdam Avenue, Upper West Side New York, New York
Love the sun-like pattern above the door of this house. And the bayview window on the second floor looks like a great place to cozy up with a book
Waltham, Massachusetts
Found a jerkinhead roof among the NYC skyline and it made my day. Built in 1870, and what now is the Central Park Giftshop, the Dairy was used as a place to provide milk to children in the late 19th Century, when mill wasn't easy to come by. It was constructed by Olmsted and Vaux.
Central Park New York, New York
Built from 1983-1984, the St. Francis of Assisi Church was designed by acclaimed film director Franco Zeffirelli and Fr. Bluest, and was made to look like the Church of St. Francis in Assisi Italy. This basilica style church was designed to look reminiscent of 12th Century Romanesque architecture
La Quinta, California
Happy New Year from Urban Façades!! Here's to a wonderful 2019!!!!
