Lou Reed dispels rumors of his death on SNL - May 12th, 2001
YOU'RE MY BOY LOU. WHAT'S YOUR EMAIL? *crying a million tears*
It always bothers me to see people writing ‘RIP’ when a person dies. It just feels so insincere and like a cop-out. To me, ‘RIP’ is the microwave dinner of posthumous honours

Good bye it is then.

God fucking damnit, Lou.
Decide in your heart of hearts what really excites and challenges you, and start moving your life in that direction. Every decision you make, from what you eat to what you do with your time tonight, turns you into who you are tomorrow, and the day after that. Look at who you want to be, and start sculpting yourself into that person. You may not get exactly where you thought you’d be, but you will be doing things that suit you in a profession you believe in. Don’t let life randomly kick you into the adult you don’t want to become.

This is about as good as advice can get. Really inspiring.

The Story by Mobstr
This put a smile on my face. Continuing on from Mobstr’s “Playing With The Buff Man” series, The Story tells the tale of the on going dance between the artist and the so called “Buff Man” as they both fight for control over the wall.
