Hey hey! I'll try to split this up a bit to touch on every part of the question.

Regarding playing with her being choked out, no, l cannot think of a safe(r) way to do this. You're stopping oxygen from flowing to her brain to choke her out, that is inherently dangerous and l can't think of a way to lesser the risk. In the class l attended regarding breath play, the teacher strongly advised against trying it, even with proper medical training (teacher used to be a nurse) because so much can theoretically go wrong. It is def a RACK activity and you guys need to assess your risk profiles together and see if you want to risk potentially damaging the brain (also, contrary to popular belief, blood choking isn't "safe" and if you hit the wrong artery, that does have consequences)

For playing with her having passed out, there is a couple of ways to achieve this, all of them also come with an inherent risk and are bad for the body. The most obvious choice l can think of is using alcohol/drugs, l don't think l need to explain why this is risky? As well as potentially illegal. Head wounds or inducing fainting are on the same page for me and l currently can't think of other ways for someone to pass out. If anyone else has an idea, feel free to add it!

For the somno bit, it is honestly quite normal that people wake up easily and early on. One way that has helped me prolong a scene is listening to the persons breathing patterns as they are awake/falling asleep/on the verge of sleeping/asleep so l could more easily interpret what a change could mean! I also take breaks when l notice the breath change so the person can fall back asleep properly before l continue. Other methods l can think of but have not personally tried include getting the body used to being touched at night (you do it and try to stop before she wakes up, then let her sleep again), using meditation to see if that'll change how deep her sleep is, and obviously things that are meant to help aid sleep (teas, melatonin, other meds, there are a lot of options here that you guys would need to research beforehand. You could start with a tea to see if the placebo effect of it already is enough to help?). I don't know at what points she often wakes up, but you could also try and lesser these risks. Taking off clothing is often bothersome, so sleeping without/very little/very loose clothing in preparation helps! Getting a toy in can be risky, it's easier to play with one the person fell asleep with, and so on. I'm happy to help brainstorm ways to avoid risks if you know what often risks waking her up. Also an option l want to mention is: you can both pretend she did not wake up. It isn't the same, l know, but it can still be hot knowing your partner would do this to you even unconscious/your partner wants this so bad they'll pretend so you keep going for longer. And it's not always easy to spot when someone actually woke up if they try to hide it.
