finished swatching the tops of all my bottles so we could see the the dry ver of the colours then my darling @lochstep helped reorganize them (we bought like 15 new bottles in prep of potential fall merch)

Any tips for someone starting out and getting into 3D Printing?

I am gonna buy a resin printer for my birthday and I did all the research I could but what did you wish someone told you and you had to find out the hard way kind of?

make sure to wear a respirator and only work in well ventilated areas. i was kinda lax about it and have horrible resin allergies now, have to use reactin whenever i work with anything uncured. ...also look into if you can get a magnetic flex plate, they're nice for removing prints from the plate easy

i recently upgraded to a new filament printer since my old one i got 8 years ago was struggling and immediately modelled more storage for my paint :D.... unfortunately some of my old bottles dont fit so i might need to sand some of the slots for them

it will def also make making printing figure bases and potentially troll horns alot easier, we just need to figure out the best system for attaching them to wigs and or headbands

The prototypes are complete :D . he needs a few small changes but otherwise hes perfect. ill be selling copies of him at dashcon2 then hopefully on etsy or kofi early fall with rouxls and a few other pieces

OMG it actually worked!!!. i printed the base hollow then filled it with a 2 pt resin to give it weight. its a little wobbly atm but once i sand the bottom a bit it should be nice and stable. i also have to reprint the sun, there was a bit of a print error with it

To make his design more readable as a 3-4" blind box-sized figurine I chibi-ified his proportions and tweaked his pose, meanwhile Noelle did all of the sculpting bringing him to life!!
