Just want the world to know, I am personally experiencing my Adam right now. I do not like being hyper-aware and meta about it, but this is not going to end well at all and will be so transformative and necessary for me.

Underrated character in Girls is by-far Ray!

His relationship with Shosh was my favorite in the whole series. He was kind of a nothing burger in their relationship, very dull. Seeing him make an active change afterwards with his cafe and run as a community board member, so damn hot.

Shosh's begging to rekindle their relationship felt all too real. It's what she wanted him to do, and he did it! As a young woman, you don't see that happening often. I've been in the dating game for a while now. I've seen perfection, I've seen great, I've seen mediocre, and I've seen criminality. Most men I've come into connection with don't view you as someone deserving of effort. When expectations come to play, they run.

Even expectations with your FWB, like: Hey, I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell me you'd be coming over at 10 tonight and then cancel... at midnight. All I expect is human decency. Common sense. They cannot have any responsibility to anyone, and sometimes to themselves.

So, to see a man heed your advice, take charge, and really become someone... I get it, Shosh. I, too, love an older man who's a bit audacious yet stern. Has his life together. And will read A Little Life for pleasure.

Though as much as I resonate with Shoshana and Ray in this plotline... I am a Hannah sun, Ray moon, and Elijah rising. Do with that what you will.

Baby sis comes to visit so naturally we do touristy things like visit the Smithsonians and get overpriced food at the food trucks.

When she is older, we will do the actual cool things. I want her to bask in her youth and be a kid, so for now... this will do.

Who would I be if not a sister?

I try not to fall victim to consumerism and through all of these blind box, labubu, and smiski blow ups... I survived! Until a trip to my little hometown, I found a shop selling Sonny Angels.

He who dies with the most toys is just dead.

Oy Vey... So here is my toy with my breakfast, a sandwich from De Clieu in Old Town Fairfax. So much egg, avocado was bland, and why is the bacon on only one side!?

In conclusion, my life is a mess.
