Humming, Grey kept himself quiet, finishing his coffee and putting his cup in the sink as she continued to rummage through the cabinets. For some reason he felt like everything was going to end up falling out of the cabinet, or he was going to hear her hit the floor. “I don’t think they would enjoy having me as a brother.” He told her. He didn’t know how he would react to having a sibling now. “I feel like I should be recording this. It’s kind of funny, some sort of entertainment. I’m now upset that my phone is in my room,” he thought aloud. “I’m not sad all the time.”

“That’s alright.” she said, never looking away from the cabinets. “You probably wouldn’t like them as siblings either.” Ursula looked over at him with narrowed eyes, throwing a packet of Ramen at him. “That, sir, would be a hate crime and that is very rude.” her joking tone poking through once again. Her eyebrow raised at Grey’s words. “Then what times are you? Just when you need to be a brooding hunk?”

“I hope you didn’t come in here thinking I was sharing with you. Cause the answer is no.” Brennan said, taking a small inhale from the joint in his hand. His eyes darted up from his laptop to the familiar figure standing in his doorway. “Go on, turn around and head back to wherever it is you came from.” His voice was slightly seriously but had a hint of playfulness to it. He wasn’t quite sure of the other’s motivates but he was way too stressed to share.

“No, I came in here to view a human being in a complete and utter state of disaster.” Ursula gave it right back, placing her hand on her hip. “Bitch, it’s a long walk Rome, so I think I’ll stay right here.” her smirk giving her sarcasm away.

“I will never underestimate your powers, Gen.” Ursula stated, putting her hands up in surrender. “Oh....I couldn’t ask you to do that.”

“I wasn’t being serious.” Grey’s face twisted. “I could only imagine. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with that. Though, it still sounds awesome for you. Even one sibling sounds cool.” Grey watched as she went through the cabinets, narrowing his eyes as she got on the counter. “If you need help. I could reach for it, if you find any.” Leaning against the counter, he continued to watch her. “I guess you could say that if you want.”

“Maybe you should watch your tone the next time, then.” she teased. “I will gladly give you any and all my siblings if you’d like one.” Ursula offered as she continued to sift through the cabinets, like it was completely normal to be on the counter. Well, it was normal for her. “Yeah, you could, but then I’d remember I’m almost a legal midget at the age of 21 and then I’d get sad. I guess this is a form of empowerment.” her voice indicating sarcasm. “Ah. Sounds tiring, you know? Being sad all the time?”

Must be awesome to have a big family like that,” Grey pointed out and then moved to the other side of her so she could get the tea he couldn’t find. “Sorry to inform you that you will be getting a lot of negativity if you’re around me. Especially if it comes to tea,” he joked back.

“You started it.” she pointed out. “Awesome is a word I’d use sometimes to describe having a big family. Stressful is another.” Ursula laughed at her own little joke. She rummaged through the cabinets; going so far as to climb up on the counter. “Ah, you’re that sort of guy? Brooding and all that shit?”

with a girlish squeal, genny’s face lit up, hands coming together to clap lightly. “it’s so pretty, oh my god!! you’re gonna make some people, like, fall at your feet in worship. here, turn!” she made a spinning motion with her index finger so that ursula could see herself in the mirror.

Ursula couldn’t help but feel her cheeks flush. She had never seen herself so....girly. “I mean....yeah. I look pretty fucking hot.” she laughed in amazement.

“I bet you that your parents probably had sex on the counter in your own home. Good luck seeing it the same.” Grey joked and looked around for the tea. “I don’t seem to see it. Tea isn’t all that great anyway, babe.”

“I mean, probably. They had six kids who are all now either in their teens or twenties so....I honestly would not be surprised.” she retorted, trying to win this weird joke game. “Babe? Okay...Anyway, tea is the fucking bomb and I don’t need this kind of negativity in my life.” her small smile giving away the joke.
