what if I told you that shinya's confidant route/arc is meant to parallel akechi's childhood and what could've been had someone been there for akechi like joker had been there for shinya

Okay so like, as of late I've started consuming Power Rangers and Kamen Riders content because I was bored and Featherman from Person got me good
ANYWAYS
So last time I'd watched any power rangers (or general tokkatsu content (I think that's the genre's name? Please correct me if I'm wrong)) content was like 8 years ago now??? It was Ninja Steel which was okay if I go off of a blurry 8 year old memory. So instead I did some research and decided to start watching Dino Fury
And honestly? It feels like they gave a bunch of film school students a major budget and ran with it. I fucking love it. It really leans into how bad some of the effects are (not like they're done badly, but in a way that they're almost purposely not meant to be good???).
And then, because I cannot commit to a single show at a time, I started watching the original power rangers. And it's simply got a completely different vibe to modern power rangers??? Like, it feels more earnest in it's presentation? As if it's not purposefully trying to lean into the more "artful" lower quality (I guess???) that more modern power rangers gives the vibes. It feels as if it's a campy show with an earnest vibe. It's literally the only way I can describe it, and it's honestly really cool to see
Please note, I am in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM saying that one is superior to the other, they're both really fun in different ways, and who knows! I'm not that fair into either of them so my opinion might change drastically!
TLDR: I think it's cool how earnestly campy the OG show is compared to campy "low quality" the modern stuff kinda has
I have been osmosised into dispatch by friends and I can confidently say my favourite ship name is "flambert"
Do I care for the ship? Not particularly, but I also don't particularly care for any of the ships atm
HOWEVER! Flambert sounds like an off-brand high quality artisan chili camenbert and I love it for that
Finally sitting down to watch S3 of Alice in borderland
Will it be good? I have no clue
Will it be bad? See previous answer
Will I be disappointed in how they portray certain characters? Probably
But ah well, who knows! Certainly not meeee
Genuinely what was season 3. I have no words for how much I disliked it as a season.
The only good part was when Arisu absolutely decked the shit out of Ryuji imo

Thinking about how Chishiya and Arisu are intersecting lines and how their character arcs follow each other's but in reverse
