Twin Flames: Separation vs Disconnection

These days I’ve thought a lot about what separation really means to me.

Separation just means no contact to me, which sucks especially when you didn’t see it coming and it is totally unexpected, but after all it is just a forced distance. You terribly miss your twin flame of course, but deep inside you feel their presence, you feel them there with you, in your heart. Deep down nothing has really changed because, whether you talk or not, you are connected.

I think what is much more upsetting is disconnection. 

I don’t think you can ever end a twin flame connection, but you can definitely disconnect from it, which is what many long-term runners do. Disconnection means not feeling, numbing out, focusing on the 3D, trying to forget about the twin flame as much as possible. Fear is the fuel of the disconnection, which for the runner creates a space of comfort and safety, and for the twin flame that stays it just becomes a void.

A void that can be filled only with more spiritual work and the development of a new awareness.
