National Day of the Cowboy! 🇺🇸

Let's ride!

Every day in my world is National Cowboy Day.

From sunup to sundown, we're in the saddle. It's our job.

*this was supposed to have posted automatically on Saturday, but damn it, it didn't. So it's a day off, but it's here now.

Friday night..... At home.

FUCKING HOT as HELL long week of doing non-stop cowboy shit.

I knocked off early (I'm the boss I can do that occasionally) and was going to clean up and drive to Nooga and see if I could sidle up to a lonely drunk country girl or cowboy at a dive bar, gift a cocktail or two, and share some talk.....and see where it might lead.

BUT - hell, I was just too worn out to do it.

So I showered off, cool shorts and a tee, threw a steak on the grill, nuked a potato, small bowl of lettuce and tomato, and now sitting on the screened in rec deck, ceiling fan moving the humidity around, eating my meal and just relaxing the fuck outta this night.

To enjoy after, I'll have a few fingers of Four Roses single batch, and a nice Perdomo 10 to savor while I listen to the crickets and the coyotes and other critters out here in the dark Southern woods around my house. Perfect night to end a long hard week.

Y'all have a nice evenin' now, ya hear?
