Dumb Random Thoughts

  -While not personally acceptable, I forgive hollywood directors for slashing backstory build-up to romances, sex scenes and murders. When you reach that peak, there are a ton of factors that decide what you can and can't do. I don't personaly like it, but I understand the motivation behind it.  -Heart of Gold by Neil Young is an amazing song to have on repeat when a patient dies. -Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is a lot more fun as a part game than the 4th.  -Moenbryda is still the ultimate mommy.  -If you're low on cash, a low-tier beer will taste just as good if you buy booze to go with it.  -If you get weird on hard booze but still want to get fucked up, try buying two six-packs of beer, ciders or your prefered brewery canned cocktail.  -We can't escape what we mentally perceive as demons, but we can learn to live with them and grow to a satisfactory point that we personally perceive as healthy. We wrongfully perceive a diagnosis as an illness when it's, in truth, a part of our very being.  -People that we cannot agree with are best left alone as we search for those who cooperatively nurish our thoughts and/or morals.

Diagnosis and Roleplay as a hobby

I’m curious as of to how people with ADHD, ADD and/or other information-processing affecting diagnosis manage to partake in roleplay. I miss roleplay as my freetime activity, and since I mostly work evening shifts(which means my sparetime consist of nights) I’m looking for tips and tricks to maintain focus.

With the caveat: speak to people OOC first, make sure folks know where the boundaries are, and don’t make it constant.

I had someone get a little too enthusiastic once (in WoW), to where I could not log in on my main without their character instantly seeking me out and harassing my character (and being utterly immune to/ignoring any and all reasonable security, or public decorum and accountability), until I had to very bluntly state OOC that they needed to stop, this “RP” was no fun, and I was nearly to the point where I was going to block and report them if it continued as I just wanted to log in and play the game for heaven’s sake.

Antagonistic, enemy RP can be great fun! Just don’t overdo it and remember there is a player behind the character who maybe just wants to log in for a relaxing lighthearted session.

Also don’t godmode past their defenses or act like an altercation in a city street or a palace courtyard or something wouldn’t bring consequences, that’s just rude. Of course the NPC guards don’t react but that is what RP imagination is for.
