KERORO MOVIE 6 NEWS: New Keronian characters revealed at AnimeJapan 2026!

The AnimeJapan stage about the new movie has concluded, and with it came the reveal of this movie’s original Keronians! On the left is Aruru and on the right is Deruru (romanizations tentative). Director Fukuda has said that they are siblings, and opening theme artist ano mentioned they will have an important role in the story. They were also originally designed by Mine Yoshizaki. That’s all we really know about them so far!

(This was pretty much the only thing from the stage that we didn’t know already—the only other big announcement was the release date which leaked last week—but I’ll make a more comprehensive post on it later.)

Well, that was a very long pause. But you know, sometimes you just need time to gather your moral resources. I hope not to disappear again, because I really enjoy sharing stuff on this blog. Maybe sometimes there will be fewer words and letters when I'm in silent mode. In the meantime, need to finish posting my demon series. Aruru, the Visage of the Flesh.

Aruru is another kind of demon with a cute name and a cool purpose. They can literally mold bodies, change their chemical processes, relieve pain or, on the contrary, bring them to agony with a single touch. Actually, biological processes and were engaged in angels of flesh.

Kaftsiel. Bodmod lover, muscle spitter and just a tough man. One of my favorite looking demons. He used to have less piercings in his design, but I added as many earrings as possible, because without them I associated him with an elementary school teacher (yes, that's weird…don't ask). In the world of people, however, he is a really conservative-looking middle-aged man with a hunchbacked nose and stubble that almost never disappears. He is not an elementary school teacher, but quite a hard worker, also a builder by profession. In the society of the Fallen, he refers to himself as a Ravener faction.

The Lie of "Consented" AI Voice Acting

Eurogamer has been criticized for giving Arc Raiders a low score due to AI Voice Acting. It is further questionable to people because the voice actors "consented" to their voices being used in AI. But is that really true? The claim that the actors "consented" is questionable at best. That word is meaningless in this context because the actors who agreed were almost certainly doing it under economic pressure. The economy is shit right now and people need to keep their jobs. If you're given the choice between "consenting" to having your voice used in AI for a small payment or having no job at all, who wouldn't agree? Especially when you know that they'll keep looking until they find someone who DOES consent. For all we know, that may have been what happened. They may have had a large list of actors and ignored any who didn't consent. This isn't true consent, it's coercion. Voice acting is unstable work. Roles are inconsistent, competition is high, and many actors are living paycheck to paycheck. Getting blacklisted from the industry for refusing is a real risk. So the "consented" tag becomes a PR lie that hides a very simple reality: the consent was extracted under the fear of unemployment. And once the studio has a few actors on board, it sets a precedent, other companies can now claim AI is fine because "the actors consented". The fact that masses are defending this lie is beyond depressing.

This is harmful to the entire voice acting community. With this lie in place as a barrier, other studios will likely use the same method to push AI into their games to lighten their work load while reducing quality and keeping prices the same. No one wins from this except executives. Even developers are really losing as their pays aren't going to go up. This will affect all art as well, not just voice acting. They'll do the same coercion to visual artists, 3D modelers, ect. No field is safe. Stop believing in the industry lies. Stop supporting AI. And that still ignores the environmental damage AI use causes. Training and running large voice-generation models isn’t cheap. It burns massive amounts of electricity and water. Along with causing massive power price surges in cities near data centers, this causes obvious harms to the environment. I know a lot of people don't care about the environment but you at least care about your power bill going up 3 times higher in less than 5 years right? Again, this benefits no one except the already-rich. It hurts literally everyone else. Stop supporting AI. Stop using AI even for "fun". There's so much better things in the world that have real human heart and don't hurt anyone. Draw. Buy a guitar. Sing. Anything but AI.

I feel like 3yrs prior he was oblivious, but as he grew more accustomed to emotions, people, & social cues he picked up on her feelings easily. That pause his little sprite does before leaving & those ellipses are a big tell that he isnt as oblivious as he makes himself out to be.

Its a little headcanon of mine that Aruru started learning more advanced medicine from Citan, as Lahan is a very conservative old village where the women are likely taught from a young age to take on the role of nurses/caretakers for the village, so I think she helped Fei recover and became fast friends with him that way, pulling Timothy along into forming their little group.
