On Tuesday, we hosted the Fun in the Sun Celebration of Excellence at the Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort, to thank our past & present partners, supporters, and volunteers and collective celebrate the reception of the 2012 National Excellence in Summer Learning Award! What fun!

Over the summer, the entire Fun in the Sun camp was invited by Montecito Bank & Trust to the Music Academy of the West. They first had a carnival, rife with face paint, obstacle courses and games, then watched a wonderful performance of Saint-Saens' Carnival of Animals by the Music Academy faculty. Needless to say, the kids were talking about it for the rest of the summer.
