It’s your day and even though you say it doesn’t matter I still have so much to say. First of all, Happy Birthday. You’re incredible, Mari, and like I told you once, I don’t have words enough to express it so I try my best everyday to show you. You’re so precious and so good, how did I get this lucky? What did I do to deserve such brightness in my life? I don’t know, but I’m thankful. For all the times you’ve made me smile, all the nights you spent talking to me, be it about gays or serious stuff. All the hours playing Terraria and crying over a sad movies. Above it all, I’m thankful for your existence.

So today is about you and how you’re now a young adult that I’ve been watching for more than a year (!!!) and wow, I can’t say I saw too much change but I’ve seen enough to say you’re a brave girl. I watch you get better at drawing day by day and working hard and I’m just!!! So proud it makes me want to cry. I’m really proud of you. Really. You’re a wonderful young woman and I’m so sure you gonna be the most amazing woman ever. Hopefully I’ll still be here bothering you and watching you grow up, holding out my hand when you need it.

And it’s really funny how we don’t even know each other for 198307183717 years and I have all this strong feelings inside me that makes me smile for every single “Good morning!” you send me every day and that’s why I’m thankful for this day.

You should be too ‘cause you’re amazing, precious, cute, beautiful. I want to protect your smile. I want to make you smile more. You’re really the best thing that happened in my life. So, congratulations once again. Have a happy birthday and an amazing day. Have fun and enjoy the day of the Mari cause I’m sure I’ll enjoy it bothering you a lot (while I’m awake, I mean).
