Lloyd is shorter than Brad. Brad is 6’3” and Lloyd is 5’10” so there’s almost half a foot between them. Lloyd has to stand on his tip toes while Brad leans down a little for the two to kiss
Lloyd is way more muscular than Brad (obviously) while Brad is a beanpole. So despite being shorter, Lloyd can and will give Brad piggyback rides
Brad is a few months older than Lloyd
Brad has a thing for dorky nerds or people who happen to have blond hair and amber eyes (which oddly enough becomes blond hair and green eyes around the time the Sons of Garmadon start wreaking havoc. Curiouser and curiouser). Lloyd’s type is people who are driven and will not take his shit
When the two go on dates, it’s all dumb, fun, normal teenager stuff they’ve both missed out on. Like sneaking into drive ins and parkour-ing to high places and eating takeout together
Lloyd’s favorite candy are gummy bears (it was gummy worms but then he got traumatized by Finn turning his candy into creepy crawlies soooo) and Brad’s is the type of licorice you can pull apart
Brad has been pining ever since right after Double Trouble. He’s tried moving on multiple times but those relationships never worked out and then somehow he lucked out into dating his first crush and gay awakening. But during that decade apart, Brad coped by being a closeted Green Ninja superfan and has a lot of Green Ninja merch. Lloyd had to have his feelings pointed out to him by the other Ninja after waxing poetic about Brad
Since this is Lloyd’s first relationship, he’s quietly panicking about everything. Brad has quite a bit of experience so he gently guides Lloyd through their relationship
When Lloyd comes into his own of his dragoni heritage, he’s worried how Brad would react to his inhuman traits. - Brad was caught off guard at first, but he genuinely thinks his tiny fangs and wagging tail and little horns are adorable. Lloyd doesn’t believe him at first, but slowly grows to trust Brad’s stance on his inhuman traits. Brad will be jealous of Lloyd growing wings for all of two weeks before Lloyd offers to take him flying. (It takes some maneuvering to find the best position but kissing in the clouds becomes one best moments of Brad’s life. This is the moment where Lloyd realizes, maybe having such a mixed heritage isn’t so bad)
The two steal each other’s clothes. Lloyd has quite a number of Brad’s shirt and hoodies that Lloyd swims in. (Some of Lloyd’s favorites is the bootleg merch Brad has bought. He thinks the broken English and badly printed images are hilarious and will wear them without shame). Brad has a few sleeveless shirts that are more glorified crop tops on him. And he has one or two sweaters that he stretched out and popped a few stitches to be able to wear. Brad also has two old gis of Lloyd’s that he wears like robes when he especially misses Lloyd because the other man is traveling around. (Brad also stole Lloyd’s ridiculous fedora from Skybound and teases Lloyd about it)
When they cuddle, Brad plays with Lloyd hair and (eventually) scratching around his horns. And it’s not uncommon to find Lloyd curled up in Brad’s lap with his nose tucked next to Brad’s neck. Brad is 90% of the time the big spoon; not because Brad is taller, but because Lloyd hates having his back exposed. It makes him anxious. Lloyd will rub noses with Brad when he’s overwhelmed with how cute Brad is and there are the occasional affectionate headbutts shared. (It was absolutely started by Lloyd bc dragoni traits), but Brad picked it up
Lloyd texts like he grew up with a flip phone instead of a smart phone. (The Ninja infected him with their Zillennial-ness, so he’s such an old man despite being a Zoomer). Brad texts with no capitalization or punctuation whatsoever for the ✨aesthetic✨ and types too fast so he has to keep correcting his horrible spelling and grammar
I wonder how Lloyd actually felt about this outfit change....... Cause imagine your abusive ex who ruined your life had a very specific make up style........ And then your friend does the same make up look but in a different font????
On one hand it's whatever, on the other hand............. the blond hair too.........
