hello. i am v, the friendly neighborhood (and everywhere else) divine celestial eldritch dragonsnakegirl goddess princess girl (among other things).

i like deltarune, in stars and time, and like a million other things.

my fics

silent construct (slay the princess, in stars and time) -- incomplete, soft hiatus -- the wound in the long quiet's being formed from the wild's escape attempt becomes infected, loop isat winds up in a deteriorating construct.

a line (slay the princess) -- complete -- a brief little vignette, in which bitterness regarding the moment of clarity causes things to take a bit of a weird route.

but it's not funny. (deltarune) -- complete -- the angel is revealed to the party, and panics a little.

crest of the angel (hollow knight: silksong, deltarune) -- incomplete, soft hiatus -- hornet finds herself possessed by the angel from deltarune.

bloom at night (deltarune) -- incomplete, in progress -- the vessel takes matters into its own hands at the holiday house.

a quick messy little doodle of my angel from bloom at night, as She appears in the dark world.

She's a fairly big angel, too -- for reference, She's probably a little over twice susie's height in this form and posture. She also has. a lot more wings and tendrils and eyes than are shown in this image, and is also probably glowing a rather bright red.

From the very moment the door creaked open, every single person in the room knew that the thing standing in the doorway was not Susie.

Sure, it was wearing her skin. Those same ragged clothes. That same unkempt mane.

But the ramrod-straight posture, the stiff, mechanical way it moved, the way its wide, gaping eyes stared into the classroom as if for the very first time…

the way it hesitated a moment before walking silently to her desk, as if it wasn't actually sure which was hers…

like someone had performed a factory reset on her very SOUL.

updated the version of func_godot that my project uses today.

was kinda holding off on it because i'd tampered with some of the source code, but i was thankful to see that the main thing i was worried about (the way that text-value choices are handled) actually got fixed.

it's also nice that they actually implemented a less weird and convoluted method for defining conditional display models for trenchbroom.

what was less nice was whatever the hell was going on with the model scaling.

why are ampersands so hard to make pixel art of

got annoyed that godot doesn't have any simple method (that i can find) to automatically capitalize text without ruining bbcode so obviously the best solution is to make a custom font where the lowercase letters are (mostly) identical to the uppercase letters

honestly i'm actually kinda glad i did this because it means that i'm using a bitmap font that's mostly monospace and doesn't have weird pixel alignment artifacts
