Happy Good Omens renewal eheheheheheehhhhhhh
My friend @vaaniebean and I tried out Drawpile and did a little collab. He did Luigi and I did Mario!
It was so much fun getting to draw with my friend ^_^ Highly recommend Drawpile~
It is Michael Protective Sheen from now on. Fucking Michael Protective Boyfriend of David Sheen. David Yeah I Let My Boyfriend Michael Deal With It For Us Tennant. What the FUCK. What the fuck. That is so fucking cute. I hope Michael gets all the kisses from David for being like this. Fuck. The actual fuck. Aw man I love a protective boyfriend I will deal with it for you love. Fuck. Michael *our* issues Sheen. Goddamnit. Michael protect your man Sheen. Fuck.
What always gets me is the look on Michael's face after he says everything in that clip. The complete softness of knowing that he truly is David's "attack dog" and will always do whatever David wants...
It's also astonishing to realize how much David feels comfortable with and trusts him, to the point of letting Michael speak on his behalf. There are very few people that I would ever allow to speak on my behalf, much less a "co-worker," so David knowing that Michael understands him so deeply and can so fully articulate what he is thinking shows how powerful the connection between them is. And Michael only being too happy to do this for David--to be protective and possessive of him in a way that is about emphasizing David instead of himself--is the purest form of love imaginable...
His face reminds me of
“Yes I’m totally head over heels and will fight you for him.” (As he hides behind my back)
Dicking down the most feared pirate and everyone knowing you did was probably the most confidence boosting thing Stede experienced
Thinking how Swede missed Izzy’s redemption arc and Izzy missed Swede’s slut arc. When they met it should’ve gone something like this
ice cold take but if you have to pay for accessibility features it is not in fact accessible
If you need to jump through one billion flaming hoops for accessibility accommodations they are not in fact accessible.
Serving this much cunt is exhausting
mechanic crowley x biker aziraphale + also theyre sapphic
its lowkey a really funny image that david tennant owns like a million pride pins and he picks one out from his stash like a little rat to put on every time he leaves the house
sometimes i forget my characters are transgender but not that they like physically are trans i just forget that thats considered like a defining quality. like i dont remember being trans is a thing. to me a boy has boobs sometimes and thats just how it is
I'm actually really appreciative that David Jenkins held back a little and didn't go overkill on the fanservice in the final product but knowing takes like this exist makes me giddy on the inside ಥ‿ಥ

"sex ed? don't mind if i do!" -stede, probably
@neil-gaiman talking about Good omens and Michael Sheen at the British library ♥️ About Aziraphale : "Michael having just become this cuddly cinnamon roll creature of pure love and joy, and knowing that everybody was just gonna want to cuddle him for 6 episodes until I let him break their hearts."
There's people in the world who fr think all good art has been made and nothing original can be made anymore. like completely unironically
Sometimes I drive myself a little crazy thinking about all the people with beautiful unique stories to tell who are barred out from getting success and recognition from their art because of marginalization, inaccessibility, gatekeeping etc. but yeah sure everything good and meaningful has been made already so let’s all just STOP making new things and keep watching the same movies and listening to the same songs and lament about how art is dead until we all die. do they hear themselves
VICO ORTIZ as JIM JIMENEZ in OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH
Wish I wasn't so rusty with all my psychology bits and pieces because I wanna chew the Gravy Basket scene into messes for what it tells up about Ed. I keep going back and rewatching and every time, there's new layers to that complicated mille-feuille of a man.
The overwhelming presence of a dangerous paternal figure - "Ben now. Just Ben" ("Actually, I do want to be called Edward now.")
Fear of vulnerability - "did you do anything to me when I was out?"
Craving to be looked after but also wary because of the inherent threat experienced in the past in a domestic setting - "I'm just making you some soup"
Expecting violence even with kindness - "It's poison!"
Getting violence with apparent 'caretaking' - "I've got to get these nutrients into you"
Finding a mirror of himself in the most violent, horrific person he knew - force-feeding comes up twice, once as comfort and once as a reminder of a punishment. No toes this time.
craving validation from said paternal figure - "is that basic?"
Half-believing the monster of a man - "and those are the only options?"
Always planning and moving - "everything's got to have an angle for you"
Wanting to be accepted. - "Jeff's being nice."
Afraid of being rejected/being told he's not good enough. - "you're not very good with people, are you, Jeff?"
Calling out his own daddy issues. - "A grown man covered in tattoos? With daddy issues?"
Bringing a nightmare from his past to finish the job for him because he can't face consciously doing it himself - "you brought me here" - "you're welcome, old chum"
fear that he's not loveable - two scenes to drive it home extra hard
self-loathing - "I've always hated your guts... I hate myself."
There's probably more. So much more. Layers on layers. It's fascinating watching those scenes and layering Ed's face over Hornigold's and hearing those words coming out of his mouth.
