Ok but her speech at the end about being who you really are on the inside and translating that to how you look on the outside. Also she is forced into a different "form"(allegory for gender identity incoming) and even when she is given every opportunity to go back to the person she was before, her world view has been fundamentally changed and she realizes she fits in better with the beastmen.
