Many Black & Brown LGBTQ folks have always struggled with financial and housing security, but the recent pandemic has made that problem exponentially worse. We've lost our sources of income, and have exhausted the few resources available to us. 40% of homeless youth are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or trans and homelessness often leads to incarceration. We must keep our friends housed and far way from the racist + violent police state.

We want to raise money for an emergency fund that will help Black and Brown LGBTQ folks pay their rents, and/or get them off the streets by finding them temporary and/or long-term housing. Now more than ever, it's crucial that multiply-marginalized folks feel secure. These funds will be directly sent to community members, or will be used to help them find housing and food. Are you in need? These funds are allocated to help four of our community members, but if we raise more than our goal, we will set up a process for other Black & Brown LGBTQ folks to receive help.
