molly was closer with her da and two older brothers more than she had been with her sisters, who happened to be twins, so they were much closer to each other. they were jealous of molly for a number of reasons and always tried to bring down her confidence. because of this she had a hard time getting along with other girls. though she eventually she met a young girl like herself who enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outside with nature rather than inside cleaning.

she even thought to run away with her when her father wanted to marry her off to a rich family to strengthen his partnership and make more money. but, the young girl’s family had kept her from leaving at the time the ship was taking off for america, so molly had to go alone.

molly naturally carries a haughty air about her—it’s just how she is. she loves her own face and the sound of her own voice. she can’t help it if it makes her seem like she thinks she’s better than you.
