FeydPaul Prompt Month Throwback
The FeydPaul discord server hosted a daily prompt event for the month of August. Now, on the very last day, it's a great honor to show you all some of the incredible writing and art our community created!!
For the prompt beg, from @kalizawake:
"He has spent the day away from duty most important to watch the only entertaining show of self-restraint he ordered promptly. A day, from sunrise to sundown against lavish pillow and leather armrests drinking in the sight of Feyd’s body deflating from its stature; succumbing to hunger, thirst, lust.
Paul is an uncharitable man, he confesses, and has no heart to reward him on good behaviors just yet."
Both a writer and an artist, they delighted us all with the following piece as well:
@painisred chose to share the following words for the pining prompt:
"Paul smiles brightly at the letter. He suddenly feels flustered thinking Feyd has a picture of him… and that he likes him already? His fingers hover over the “You look nice.”
It feels it’s too soon for all this, but at the same time, Paul has never had a relationship before. Has Feyd had any at all? Is this how courting works? Paul wonders.
Paul also hasn’t seen a picture, and the idea of wanting to see his future husband so badly makes him slightly embarrassed. Would it be bad to ask for one back?"
Her epistolary universe was a surprising gem, never had I thought letters could be this enticing!
The lovely @ladybundle picked horny as the perfect prompt to join with:
"Up close, Paul doesn’t look very impressive, although he’s taller than Feyd thought he was going to be. Only a little shorter than Feyd himself.
“Feyd-Rautha,” Paul says, a polite smile on his face. But that’s all he gives away.
The Princess is looking at Feyd with clear distrust. He doesn’t need to be a fucking genius to see that she wants him gone. So she can try and get her hands in Paul Atreides’ well tailored pants. He can tell. She wants to fuck him."
I will admit, I will never see gardens quite the same way after her works this month!
@ierc picked Messiah, a very fiting choice, to add his own contribution:
"His voice carries authority. Feyd wouldn’t shy away from using the word superiority, either. He commands the room with a tone that booms, speaks in a tongue Feyd doesn’t understand. And yet he knows the young man speaks of dreams and war and paradise. His thin nose turns up as he lifts his chin.
His strange robes billow behind him as he struts around the stage he’s speaking on. His body appears sinewy under the strange, dark suit. Powerful but lithe, like a hare. Feyd admires the loose curls, matted and dry, as he shouts amid so many people. He’s never seen this man before, but he feels like he too, would be ready to lay down his life, like everyone else in the room.
Something shiny appears before Feyd. Worn silver and brass. The image of a hawk.
He wakes with a start, sheets drenched under his spine.
He used to tell Piter about these dreams. Piter isn’t around anymore. He can’t tell Uncle."

The lovely @pandamoon13 picked lactation as the most worthy of contributions for the event:
"Paul dreams constantly, of the hot Arrakis air and the cooling Caladan waters. He sleeps in his husband's bed, surrounded by black silk sheets and sees his future - it's covered in sand and he’s covered in it too.
In the bright sweltering sun he knows he’ll see soon, he’s dancing across dunes and riding giant worms. As the sun sets the tents are raised and he strips off his still suit. The stars are out, bright and endless. As he lays down he notices his shirt is damp. It’s not water, there’s no moisture left in the air for that. It’s not sweat either, the desert takes all moisture that it can from anything living.
He lifts his shirt up to find his nipples leaking pearly white beads, clean white and dripping slowly down his chest. In the haze of his mind he reaches a finger to it, curious and confused. A taste however is all he needs to know - milk. Breast milk. Breast milk of a pregnant carrier.
I have to admit, dreams that are not dreams are a great weakness of mine and this instance is brilliance itself!
The next quote comes under the definition of double troube, mutual masturbation and arrangement by @norrinocs:
"He doesn’t say so, sucking in a breath instead and attempting to concentrate. It’s difficult with the view. They’re sitting naked in front of each other, legs spread, Paul’s laid delicately over his. Paul is reclined back on one hand, and the other holds a little black toy over his clit. The sheets beneath him are darkening, slickening, and Feyd can’t stop staring.
He pulls his eyes up again. Paul is looking between Feyd’s legs now too, and Feyd follows the gaze. He’s pressing an identical toy against his cock, just under the head, precum spilling down over his fingers and making his grip slippery. The vibration of it is a lot more intense than when they first started—he feels it in his balls, in his lower stomach, and it’s good. It’s really good. Unlike anything he’s felt before. Last but far from least we have a soft, sweet breeze entry from @captainclaudeandthehiddenlogs:
"Pebbles are pleasantly warm under Paul’s feet, waves are lapping at his ankles, and the Dukeling of Caladan gazes upwards: not a single cloud in the sky, and a gentle sea breeze is caressing his face. It seems like his home planet is as glad as he is that Feyd-Rautha is here, walking along the shore next to him.
He turns toward his betrothed: his shoulders squared, his posture stiff, his boots still on - the na-Baron always looks ready to attack and defend, never letting his guard fall for a moment. Paul wonders if he will ever get to see him relaxed. Maybe…If they had been away from his guards’ prying eyes, some meters behind them… Paul grins at the annoyed expression on Gurney’s face, who’s stomping next to Duncan and Feyd’s escort, before getting back to walk."
My love for Caladan and arranged marriage AU is endless, while her writing invokes the memory of waves lapping at a shoreline to perfection. A match made in heaven.
