Seven Devils || Valencia & Lucian [feat Eve] (closed)
"Take me down to the levy, take me down to the stream, take me down to the water. We're gonna wash our souls clean," Valencia sang to herself as she sauntered (yes, sauntered) down the street. She didn't have to be wearing a sexy dress or heels or any of that stuff to feel sexy. Valencia was well aware of the fact that she had a natural sex appeal, and that even in her jeans and leather jacket, she was just as sexy as a Victoria's Secret model.
She was on a mission, and with all of her extra senses, it wasn't all too difficult to accomplish. She'd sensed Luke as soon as she'd come to town, but she'd done her best to keep herself concealed from him until she was ready to see him. Something about Lucian Vranian put her slightly off kilter. And as Valencia was always in danger from vampires, it was never a good idea for her to be off kilter. She had to be ready to protect herself at all times.
This meant that getting both Brant and Nora to allow her to go to meet him alone was a task all in itself. Nora being the particularly difficult one. Brant was tough, sure. But he also trusted Val's judgement. Whereas Nora was sworn to always be at Val's side. But somehow or other, she'd convinced Nora that Luke would never hurt her and that she didn't need to worry.
So, as she hummed her way up to Luke's front door, she could feel and almost see both of the vampires in the home finally becoming aware of her presence. But just as Eve had been about to rush the door, Val raised a hand and it swung open on it's own. Wind brushed Val's blonde curls back over her shoulders as she gazed into the dark eyes of a fanged-out Eve. "Oh, calm down," Val rolled her eyes to the brunette before stepping across the threshold and into the house, walking towards where she sensed Luke.
She stopped once he came into view and gazed evenly at him. It had been a few years since she'd seen this pair of vampires, and seeing Luke brought back all the strange sensations in her brain and her chest.
"Lucian," Eve purred near Valencia's ear, "Remind me why we don't eat this one?" Eve's green eyes turned to her Maker as she smiled a bit, fangs still bared, "I forget how hypnotizing she smells."
