what are your thoughts on cancel culture?

cancel culture, to me, is not the same as holding someone accountable for their wrongdoing.

I think cancel culture is no different than purity culture and censorship. so I hate it. it’s all about “finding a morally superior way to harass other people in order for one to feel morally superior”. it’s really just about being a bully who wants to feel morally superior. nothing more. and most people who participate in it are insufferable and not the type of people I want to associate myself with.
